These are a very inexpensive easy to install addition to our security system. It was a bit tricky to set up but I was able to figure it out and after the first bulb I am pretty certain I can install additional bulbs much easier. They hook to the WiFi and you can view from your phone with the app. It also sends notifications to alert to activity. They have a motion tracking feature so the camera has ability to follow movement, night vision, pan/tilt, zoom & audio w/ 2 way talk feature. Camera can be installed into a standard light bulb socket (in either direction thanks to the cameras picture flip feature.) it also comes with an adapter/socket which I didn’t need to use. There is a light feature that can be turned on/off as well or programmed in timer.Overall a great addition and I plan to get more!8/7/22 Update: These are still great cameras! I am updating my review to share some information. I needed to reset my camera after changing network information. I attempted many times to reset the cameras but was having no luck. It was very frustrating. A search in the Q&A’s let me to think these were just going to be paperweights due to no way to reset. However I am pleased to say I was finally able to move these to the new network.Key steps:First I deleted devices from Tuya app to reinstallClick Add device / WiFi cameraNOTE: There was no green light as directions stated there should be. Device was however making annoying noises due to lack of connectivity. ( Click the switch that says the light is on anyway. )On your programming device, Be on the network you plan to use (see photo) and make sure the same network is inputted into the proper fields.Continue and you will get a QR code.This is where you have to just be patient and adjust the QR code in front of the camera until it reads it. You will know it reads it when it beeps (differently than all the other annoying beeps) I reset 3 cameras this way today.The most difficult part is getting the camera to read the QR code. Try close to far, different angles make sure there’s no glares etc. If the network info is inputted wrong then the QR code won’t work. Try again and make sure all info is correct. At one point I had copied and pasted info and realized Ayer many attempts, that pasting wasn’t inputting it properly causing me to have to start over. I also noticed while the camera was attempting to read the code the annoying beeps would slow or stop; it kind of helped me to know I was somewhat in the right position.I know this sounds like a lot of work but really it is worth the savings to me. & because they are “wireless” and easy to install. (Physically at least lol) Also note; they are not used as my main system just an addition.

I cannot express my frustration enough with this camera. After an initially promising start, these cameras have turned out to be a complete nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product at all costs.Upon setting up the cameras, they worked flawlessly for a mere few hours. However, since then, they have been nothing but a headache. These cameras are offline more often than they are actually online, rendering them utterly useless as security devices. It is beyond frustrating to invest in a product that fails to fulfill its most basic function.Naturally, I first suspected that the issue might lie with my network. However, this cannot be the case, as every other device on my network functions perfectly fine. I have two smart LED bulbs located just a couple of inches away from the cameras, connected to the same network, and they have never experienced any connectivity issues. This discrepancy clearly indicates that the problem lies specifically with the cameras themselves.To make matters worse, I gifted one of these cameras to my sister, who lives at a different location. To my dismay, she has been facing the exact same problems. 🤦‍♂️ This only solidifies my belief that the these cameras are inherently flawed and unreliable.The frequent offline status of these cameras has left me feeling helpless and frustrated. I purchased them with the intention of enhancing my security measures, but instead, I am left with a worthless product that consistently fails to perform its intended purpose.I strongly advise against purchasing this product. Their inability to maintain a stable online connection, despite other devices on the network functioning perfectly, is simply unacceptable. Save yourself the disappointment and invest in a more reliable and reputable security camera system!!!

I recently bought this camera and installed it on 03/06/2022. It was a little aggravating getting it to pair and scan the QR code on the phone but it wasn’t the cameras fault. My phone is set to auto dim and wouldn’t stop going dark while being outside so it made it hard for the camera to scan (I have the iPhone 12). Once I finally got both of the cameras paired and stared playing with all the features I really like them. I also have and pay for ADT camera and honestly for the price of these Amazon cameras they can go toe to toe with my high dollar ADT camera I purchased before these. I wish I knew about these first. I seen some reviews saying they didn’t work or wouldn’t install.. honestly I had no 0 issues except for 1! I found out these will not work in your flood light socket! I thought maybe I had a bad camera but for some reason they don’t work in the flood light socket! Soon as I put it in the little smaller outdoor single light fixture lantern thing it worked just fine. The app is easy to use and all the features work good. I definitely recommend this for outdoor use or indoor I’m sure would be even better. It also says in the the instructions booklet that you can get free SD cards to go with them if you call or email who it says to (haven’t tried yet though) If I had more bulbs to stick them in outside I would get more. I don’t know why other people had a lot of problems. I had 0 problems as far as the product. Just human errors on my end lol.
