Scrap Leather Bonanza - Mixed Leather Pieces - Mixed Styles, Sizes, and Colors, 3 Full Pounds!

I am SO HAPPY with my shipment. I will DEFINITELY order again and will post several pictures of my projects with my next purchase. I have a traveler's notebook that I have made already out of this wonderfully thick orange-dyed piece that I barely trimmed down at all. I received a few pieces that I'm not sure what to do with, they are a natural unfinished leather that is rough on both sides. I'm not sure what this is called so if someone could point me in the direction of crafts to use that for- otherwise it's just lining material. I received 2 pieces that were painted with a shimmery finish- one a bronze hued slate color and the other a glittery soft pink. Most pieces are of substantial size, though they aren't all regular shapes, they are pretty good for making a journal cover which was my planned project number one, but these probably wouldn't do any good for someone trying a belt, least not with my bag. I'd say generally speaking most pieces are about the size of a sheet of 8"x11" paper with some jagged edges leftover. There are several pieces that seem like scraps from a leather sofa, soft and thin. I will definitely be making more book covers from the thicker leathers and I'm thinking of sewing some small pouches from the thinner sheets.

I liked the sizes and varieties of texture. Very disappointed with the color. I really wanted colored pieces for my project, but these were just shades of brown and black.

I am making an assortment of key chains and earrings as gifts and took a chance on the surprise of assortment in colors. I can be pretty crafty with thickness/texture so I wasn't worried all that much about what I was going to receive. My main research was making sure minimum size of each piece was atleast 8"x8" and upon receiving I am very happy at this price. There's enough here in width, thickness, from soft-medium-hard. It's a fantastic and large enough assortment for smaller crafts or even to fix items in the house/closet. The sizes do range, they are not all the same like the photo but I expected it. Will be back in a couple months with crafts I've made from the lot.

Mostly upholstery leather. Pretty much junk if you aren't using it to cover projects. If you intend on using this for leather working projects, hard pass on this. Mostly brown and black...however they did throw in a sample of a purple fur covered piece to up the weight.

Will buy again. Expertly priced for quality. Variance of high-quality leathers, for the perfect mix for anyone beginning or curious about leather crafting. Probably not the most superb cuts of top grain hides, but gives you a feel for the huge variety of available types. A little bit of everything. Pieces that arrived we're not meant to take on large projects, but rather give me an opportunity to let my creativity flow cuz I familiarized to myself with a multitude of manageable small undertakings. For sure recommended!!!

The leather is nice. I was hoping to have more colors than black, brown and grey. It did have a blue piece. I wanted more colors!

The pieces are all a great size. The problem for me is that they’re all too thick for what I wanted them for.
