3MVenture Tape UL181A-P Aluminum Foil Tape 1581A, Rigid and Flexible Duct Seaming, Durable, Cold Weather Adhesion, 3.89 in x 60 yd, 2 mil

I use this in my business/work. Great product. Easy to detach from the backing strip. Very strong adhesive that holds strong in cold temps. Strong, great thickness and size. I highly recommend this tape if you are looking for metal tape for ducts, HVAC, hobbies, projects, etc. I’ve tried many other brands and 3M imho is absolutely the best.

It held on to the cowling of my Cessna 172 for the last 3 months with no issues. Will withstand about 140+ MPH and keep the engine nice and warm. Make sure to reinforce the tape going over the cowl inlets or it will rip off but with a few more pieces of tape to give it some structure, it holds up great.THE ONE DOWNSIDE: It may rip off some pieces of your paint. But it only ripped some paint off where a chip had already been so be careful how you remove it. Also, it will give you a very nice deep cut if you aren't careful.

This is a great tape for air sealing HVAC ducts, and HVAC boots. It is printed with the UL certification, to meet code for inspections. The adhesive adheres strongly once pressed in place. It will tolerate repositioning, if it has not been pressed in place, and the tape can be smoothed (rubbed) for even better bonding. Save yourself the hassle, and but this tape first.Tip: I find folding an outside corner of the tape over a great way to peel off the backing tape.

Did what I needed it to. Good foil tape is a must when insulating something.

Bought to seal a duct and have found it to be very useful in other ways. Actually great for masking holes. Trims nicely with razor blade.Much better than any aluminum tape I've used previously.

I love this tape, honestly. It’s very very easy to tear/rip, it’s cuts just as easily, it has no problem sticking on most things, and it’s easy and clear to see when the adhesive has adhered the foil to the surface completely. I use this randomly for whatever I need to stick together for the moment. Right up there next to duck tape is the duct tape. Love it!

This is not the lowest cost tape out there. In fact, it may be the most expensive tape here. It is well worth the cost however.The tape has great adhesion and it is easy to remove the backer paper.The tape does not wrinkle easily.The adhesion is superior to any product I have used.The bitterness of poor quality lasts longer than the sweetness of low price. Remember that. This tape is worth the premium you pay.

It was much narrower than described. It was supposed to be 3.89 inches wide and was only 2.89 inches. Probably would have been fine if it was the correct size but to narrow for what I needed.
