These foam rollers work like a charm and they don't leave behind brush strokes. My wife will typically use a knap roller for the walls, but the board and batten she'll do with these rollers because it comes out smooth and seamless.

Tried roller with stencils, but paint continued to bleed underneath

I had a small touch up project that I got this for. I will say you have to really work the paint into the roller sponge at first, but after that it goes on smoothly.

just use the nap roller for application then smooth out the paint with the foam roller. It's best to have two roller applicators for this as you want to smooth it out immediately without let the the paint tack up the slightest while you would otherwise have to change roller covers.

Good mix of tools for a small project but the fiber rolls shed bits of fiber into the paint. Kinda ruins the nicely smooth finish a microfiber roll would give, but these are clearly NOT microfiber. Except for that , this would be a great set!

This was perfect, I needed to paint my baseboards and this is just what I needed. I like using a roller then a regular brush because it goes on smoother(at least for me it does) This roller was the perfect size for my baseboards and covered them on the first coat. I used 2 coats but I didn't need any touch ups with the brush. buy it you won't be sorry. I forgot to take a pic but I will add one when I do the ones in the living room. Happy Painting
