Does the job perfectly. I'm actually using it as a jump from standard water hose to copper pipe to my pool. The threads are NOT an exact match so it won't screw down all the way. However, it's not made for this and adding the right width of rubber seals (for garden hose accessories) will allow it to seal up.

Very Easy To Use
I used the SharkBite water heater connector to install a new water heater. Quick install from PEX tubing to the water heater and no leaks. I highly recommend these connectors.

So easy to install. Fits all types of pipes. I used it on my copper pipe at first, then switched to pex. No issues with either.
