High School British Literature: A High School English Student Text of Readings and Activities for a full-year British Literature Study (Writing Curriculum)

Not All-Inclusive and Online Resources are Obsolete
I homeschool and this book appeared to be exactly what I needed to teach high school British literature. There is a clear grading scale, a list of materials the student will need, a weekly schedule, and information on literary devices and background information on each period of British literature. The book includes some short excerpts of minor readings, but the major readings are found on the internet. Of the seven major readings, all of which are available as links to pdf files or websites, five have obsolete links to study guides. The textbook offers ideas for writing your own study guides and includes one study guide for Dickens' Hard Times.Honestly, I do not have the time to write study guides for a year's worth of British literature. That's the reason I purchased the book. I'm disappointed in this purchase. It has potential, but when much of the material is internet links, there is great likelihood that the links are eventually obsolete. I just didn't expect it with a book published one year ago. I have contacted the author, and if I am able to get new links to study guides, I will be happy to give a better review.
