My daughter and I very much in joy this fun book.The art work is beautiful and each section is informative.

It uses Latin name for ordering the plant, while provides common name too.It really saves time to find a particular plant with a little help of google search.

This book is useful for so many things.Love the colors. The feel of the pages. The explanations. Great great book.

This is a really nice book. I love the look and feel of the cover. It is a book I could see myself using over and over again just because it feels good to hold and looks professional. I have to say I was a little disappointed once looking inside though. The book reminds me of those plant books you can get (The Field Guide to Herbs or such other types of names) that gives you a short summary of the plant with their scientific name, etc. It does mention a little about usage of them, but it is very lacking in information in that regard. I actually have a little education on using herbs for medicinal purposes, so I was really looking for more of a guide I could quickly look in to remind myself of what certain ones did, not one like this. I have those field guides already, and they actually probably mention more about usage than this book does. This is a good book, but it is not the book that you can look up chamomile in and find recipes for teas or homemade lotions or other items it can be used in. Someone who might be looking up herbs for teas or soap making or other creations might be a little disappointed with this. Someone who is happy with the field guide without a lot of extras might get more use out of it.
