Tried to find a good beginner-friendly curler that gives natural curls and I think I found the one. For anyone deciding to buy this curler, I think it is a good choice.It is easy to use (this is coming from someone who is not good at following even easy hairstyling videos and prefers having curl perms every once in a while as I cannot style my flat hair) and because they have different sizes to choose from, it makes it versatile for customers to choose the type of curl they want. I chose 1.4 inches as I don't like super-defined curls or very loose curls, this 1.4-inch one was perfect for anyone with that type of preference. Plus, if you like to have an aesthetic hair curler this ivory color one is super classic and pretty to have.A note I want to give is that if you live in the US and want to purchase this, please don't be worried that the volts won't work, apparently even though it is a Korean brand the product does come with a plug that is used in the US. That was my main concern when deciding to purchase it or not, as it was never mentioned in the description box.

My hair is notorious for not holding a curl. I have very fine, nonporous, silky virgin blonde hair. I have had countless stylists try to prove themselves that it can, and will, hold a curl only to be left disappointed and mystified. On the set of Euphoria, the stylist had this iron from Korea and she was the first to successfully leave my head full of luscious curls that didn't fall after 15 minutes. At that time, they weren't available in the US, unless you had a dealer. I was pleasantly surprised to come across the VODANA iron just randomly here on Amazon and bought it instantly, and I'm so glad I did. It's such a pretty iron with an industrial feel. It's heavy, yet soft. It doesn't pinch the hair and your hair won't get stuck in the clamp spring. The black color even has a bit of glitter in the paint. I love how you can control the temperature to the degree. It heats up quickly and gets the job done ! I got the 1.4" size and that works for my purposes of attaining the glamorous wave curl look.

So I've got fine thick hair. It is difficult to keep curl and I am a victim of humidity. I am constantly looking for the "perfect" product and "perfect" hair appliance to give me the exact look I'm wanting. I have over half a dozen curling irons and this one KEEPS THE CURL the longest. I was amazed at that. No more 15 minutes of gorgeous curls then... blah. Like a few other reviewers on here have written, this curling iron KEEPS THE CURL for the longest amount of time. I'm glad I purchased it. And for the price, against my other very expensive(over $150) curling irons, this one is a steal!The ONLY reason I gave this 4 stars was because the barrel needs to be longer. It takes a bit longer to curl my hair and for that and that alone, it doesn't get 5 stars. But trust me, the curl LASTS.

So I got an ugly haircut that looked bad when I wore my hair natural which is straight. I needed to curl it to hide how bad the layers looked. I've used cheap hair curlers before and my usually does not hold a curl. I started researching hair curlers used by Asian / Korean people and this came up multiple times. Decided to try it out, glad I did. It is no wonder Korean celebrity hair stylists use this brand. I can curl my hair in under 10 minutes, spray some Kristin Ess Working Texture Spray and I have waves that last all day. And I get compliments on my hair. So yeah, if you're deciding whether to get this or not, just get it!

This product has a nice color and works well. However there is no protection when you are holding the handle or clamp from the hot iron. I've touched the hot iron every time I use it on accident. The handle is thin and smooth and it's easy for my hand to ride up and touch the iron. The clamp is small and plastic and when you are moving your hand to curl your hair, it's easy to touch the metal part which is very hot. Not sure why it's designed this way, you are almost guaranteed to get burned.

I bought a cheap curling iron in the past and it was so hard to use that I never tried another curling iron again.Until my friend recommended me this curling iron and I managed to get the curls I wanted the first time I used it! Just be careful when you use it, it's a little easy to get burned.

I have been wanting this curler for a while and finally got it. The first time I used it, the top of the handle was a bit hot but I was very satisfied with the curls so I have no complaints. The curls didn't last long however, about half a day, but I was still in love with the curler because its so pretty and I heard that its less damaging to your hair.About 2 weeks later, I tried to use this curler again for a ceremony and set the temperature higher (160C), hoping that the curls can last me through the day. Half way through, there was a sudden spark and my circuit tripped! I was terrified and put the curler down immediately as I check for injuries. Thank got I didn't get hurt but there were some smoke coming out of the handle. I am requesting a return now and would not purchase again. I'm so disappointed because I really liked this curler brand but is now terrified. It's totally not worth my hopes and for the price.
