Thanks for your question. Polk recommended amplifier power: 30 - 200 watts and amplifier output compatibility 8, 6. and 4ohms. A 30 watt receiver that is 4 ohm capable would work as long as it is not driven into amplifier clipping (distortion) at higher volumes. 60 to 100 watts would be ideal.
