I have a 100sqfr lab /storeroom and because I live in a valley the humidity gets really high. Using a compressor based dehumidifier is just too expensive electricity wise which is why I went with this.Does it work? I think so, the humidity here ranges from 60-70%, and in about less than a day the tank was half full which means it is pulling the moisture from the air. And the humidity dropped by 2-3 %.500 Sqft? Definitely, an overestimate by marketing because I am using this is a room 1/5 the size advertised and it still takes a while even to change the humidity by 1%. It did generate a full thank in ~three days of use. So it is doing something and the room doesn’t smell musky as it did before. There is also a sleep function and timer that really helps manage how long it runs. You can set the humidity level and if it goes below that the unit automatically switches off but I can’t say this would be useful in a bigger room, so 500sqft is a stretch. Other than that I do like the design and noise level and it does a better job than these damp rid buckets I previously have been using.

Worked alright for almost ten months. Then it just up and quit and won’t run now. Even though the screen shows it’s on, it won’t kick in or allow adjustments to the settings except for the timer.We kept it in our very small bathroom to help with humidity and it would fill up every week or so. Doesn’t seem to be a way to clean any filters or anything though. So not sure how well the ‘air purifier’ mode worked. The thing definitely collected a lot of dust. I would sometimes clean out the grooves in the back with q-tips.

Good unit for small space!! Only negative cannot change temp from Celsius

We purchased 2 for our boat and just received them last week. We are letting them run this week and will have a better idea of how they work in a few days.However; we can't get ours to change temperature modes from Celsius to Fahrenheit.Other than that, they are slim and will fit pretty much anywhere.

La verdad no me fue muy bien con el producto. Uno se averió con pocas horas de funcionamiento. Aunque ofrecen sustitución por garantía, los costos de envío me toca asumirlos, y me sale más costoso el envío que el valor del producto.

I like the compact design and available settings. Using in 1,800 cubic ft area. Works fair in this space. Though, I may go to a larger unit soon

It doesnt really dehumidify. I've tried 2 other dehumidifiers since and both work much better. Ive been keeping this in a greenhouse and barely pulls any moisture out of the air. Only use i have for it is it tells the temperature and humidity. Don't recommend
