Loud and Clear
I've got a cheap Cobra CB installed in my SUV so I can pretend I'm a trucker. So far I haven't had much luck getting any real truckers to hear me. You know who CAN hear me though? Anybody standing within about 500 feet from the front of my truck as I bark orders and make weird noises through my sweet PYLE PSP8.Installation is only as difficult as you make it. It comes with everything you would need to install it pretty much anywhere you want. I chose to install mine under the radiator behind the bumper. Because of where I chose to put it, I needed some longer bolts, but I could have picked an easier place to screw it in under the hood. I like to have everything as factory as possible so I decided to splice in a few extra feet of audio cable so I could run the wire invisibly around the engine compartment and bring it through the firewall with the main wiring harness on the driver's side. It plugs right into the back of your CB and that's it. It's powered by the CB so you don't need to run anything else. Now the $10,000 question...is it loud? Like I mentioned, I have mine mounted in what I felt was the ideal location on my truck. It is bolted to the frame directly behind a series of vents in the bumper, so it isn't muffled at all and is coming out full strength and I can say it is really loud but very directional. If you are off to the side of the truck it doesn't carry as far. I had my oldest son help me experiment by walking straight out from the truck and talking to him the whole time. We stopped at about 100 yards because it was annoying the neighbors, and he said it was just as loud 100 yards away as it was 10 yards away. It's been mounted for about 2 months now and seen about 2000 miles on the truck, including some long hauls (picked that up from listening to the CB) and it is holding up just fine. It has also been great for embarrassing my kids by announcing my presence at sports practice and school pickup, "Hey James! I'm here!! Hurry up! Run!! Run!!!"I highly recommend this speaker! It's a cheap and super fun mod for your vehicle that I guarantee you will enjoy.EDIT APRIL 2018I’ve had the speaker hooked up for about 9 months now and driven it through snow and monsoon level rain and mud and every other nasty condition you can think of. I’ve driven in 100+ degree weather and sub zero temperatures with it and it’s still working just like the day I installed it. I have to be honest, I wasn’t expecting too much out of this little horn, but it has really surprised me!EDIT August 2018Hey guess what? It’s been about a year since I hooked up this little beauty and she is still just as loud and annoying as ever! I used it just the other day to announce my arrival at a friend’s place of business and they were remarkably embarrassed! Well done Pyle! This horn should come as standard equipment on every new truck sold in the US.

Good deal
I'm impressed with how well it works for the price. Sure the sound can be a little distorted but works great for the value. The one hole cut for the wires is a little trashy looking but what do you expect for this deal. A little low on volume but I turned my mic gain up and worked just like a volume for the speaker. Haven't tried to mount it yet but it all functions properly and has plenty of wire along with itOkay after I tried to mount it I realized that the wire is actually kind of short for my application. On my pickup I have it mounted in the bottom of the bumper and ran the cord through my fender in through my firewall and to my cb and it was close. After it's out on the truck it's got a decent volume better than you'd expect for a $7 speaker. The hole where the wires went in was actually where the mounting bracket was broke off of mine and I didn't realize it until I tried to mount it. I put some super glue around it and let it set and it's okay now. Not sure if it was broken in transit or what but broken still yet. Other than that it's a cheap speaker that nobody really has a purpose for so go on and buy it. It can be loads of fun at times

Works way better than it should for the price.
I bought this primarily to hola at the fly ass honeys on the sidewalk or heckle degenerate transients from the comfort and safety of my locked SUV. Lets be honest, there is not legitimate reason for a good Christian boy to have a PA mounted to a civilian vehicle. But if you are here reading this then you are probably no stranger to wasting money on toys for your rig. That makes us kin.I installed this inside the bumper of my 4runner. I'm powering it with a Cobra mini CB(that I also don't need) and it works great! I have had it installed for about 4 months and have seen all kinds of weather. The way I installed this it is shielded from most of the water and debris the tire would throw at it but it still sees a fair amount of moisture and road grime. Hasn't seemed to phase it. I was a little worried that being inside my bumper the sound would be muffled but it is pretty loud. I'm able to yell profanities at buddies ahead of me on the trail and they can hear me loud and clear.Just to straitin' out some of the bone heads that have been reviewing this, you do have to run it through some kinda amp. PA out on a CB will work perfectly. I hooked it up to my phone as soon as i got it and guess what, it was super quiet... doubt your phone or iPud is cranking out 15amps through the headphone jack. So there's that. This is a toy with essentially zero practical uses and like a billion impracticable uses. Come on dude, Buy it.
