I have trusted Dreo brand heaters for over 3 years already. So when I needed a space heater for a larger room I chose this new version radiator heater. It arrived fast and was well packaged.After unboxing, I plugged it in outdoors on high (95) for about an hour - the instructions say for 1st use you should put in well-ventilated area on high for 2 hours. It made its popping noises for about 10 minutes and heated quickly. I was too impatient to wait 2 hours. So brought it into the room (12x24) and plugged it in. Set it to Eco at 68 F. It works fantastic! I really like how quiet it is too. I have several Dreo Tower Heaters in other parts of the house and they have a bit of fan noise - but the Dero Radiator Heater is quiet quiet quiet and it is working great on keeping the 12x24 room at a constant temp of 68 F. Eco mode is a great feature so it uses less electricity to maintain room temperature.The remote control is great - no need to get up to adjust temperature or mode. Batteries were included in the box. (2 AAA size).The Surprise Bonus: in the owner booklet is a qr code you can scan to register the product at Dreo and Dero automatically extends the standard 1-year warranty to a full 5-year warranty!Of course, owning several Dreo products for years, I have never needed warranty repairs - Dreo is a quality brand that I trust. But its nice to know they warranty for 5 years through their website.Quality - Excellent, Features - Excellent, Efficiency - Excellent, Heating - Excellent, Cost - Worth It!

We just purchased an older home with a two-car, finished (but not heated or cooled) garage that we use for storage, exercise, workshop and laundry. Temps dropped considerably already this year, which made doing laundry rather uncomfortable, let alone anything else. My hubby purchased this in hopes that it would make a difference for me, and it totally has! I'm impressed with how well it keeps the garage a comfortable temperature, even in below zero conditions. For example, outside temperatures dropped into the teens/twenties, but the garage actually stayed in the sixties. I can handle that. I'm also impressed with the safety of the unit, it seems much safer and more practical than a typical space heater. We've left it plugged in and going since we bought it, with no issues. I love how the garage actually feels warmer, without the need to stand in front of something blowing heat at you. Please note - it took at least a day or longer, for the temperature change in the garage to be noticeable - in fact, my hubby was unconvinced that it was really doing anything at first. But we decided to give it some time and are we glad we did! Honestly, this is a reasonably priced solution to needing to utilize your garage space in winter. We have it sitting near the center of the garage, but even the area in front of the garage door stays around 63 degrees (the unit is set at 70, I believe). We are very pleased with this heater and definitely recommend it. If that changes, we'll try to update. Stay warm! :)

I had a heater with a fan for many years and the noise gets tiresome. But this heater is completely silent. And it's much sleeker than other oil-filled radiator heaters, with the flat sides also meaning it doesn't get as hot on the exterior.Because it's oil-filled it takes longer to heat up than a heater with a fan, but once it's heated (maybe five minutes), it gently warms your room--and saves energy because the oil holds the heat even without needing constant electricity.The thermostat works really well, and I use the eco mode so the heater can decide how much power it needs. The remote is simple, you can turn off the beep (thank you!)The timer works two ways--when the heater's running the timer can turn it off in a given time. When the heater's off, you can set the timer to turn it on and warm your room before you get home. Handy that it works both ways.I'm very happy with this heater and am glad I switched from my fan heater to this silent one--it's much more pleasant.
