We purchased this kit to connect a 48' string light set between our shed's outlet and a pergola. The kit comes with enough anchors to make 3 independent point to point connections. The instructions were dead simple, but I strongly recommend reading it thoroughly to make sure you have properly tightened cables.Once tightened, there is no give under the weight of the lights, though my largest run was around 20'; your mileage may vary on longer runs. They provide ample zip ties and cable, so you can feel free to make mistakes or change your mind on your layout. Do remember you're gonna need a pair of wire-cutters, though most pliers usually have some built in. The included tape measure is a bit silly, capping out at 2', so I'm not sure why they include it. This kit is still extremely cost effective for what they provide.When it came to hanging the lights, I would zip-tie the first light a little further out from where I would want it to start, and lightly secure it. Do the same for the second and third lights (lightly securing), then start putting some tension on the remainder of the lights to ensure they are snug against the wire. You can then revisit the first lights, putting tension in the opposite direction towards the anchor (hence the initial slack).

This has everything you need to run string lights, including tools. The directions are simple and clear. The only thing that was a head scratcher is the included small tape measure. It's not suitable for this project but it's nice and can be used for small things around your household.

does what it says. The wire is very strong. The accessories are small and not what I needed. But they seem well made. I needed larger connectors. it came in a small box, but there was a lot in there!

Very good "starter" set for the price. What I mean by starter set is you'll buy this to hang your string lights and after you start hanging you'll figure out what extra items you'll need. The lines I hang have been around 15 ft long each, so I've got plenty of cable left, but I needed more clamps and carabiners. So I just ordered a bulk set of those to add to this set for the extra lines I'm hanging up. Very easy to us and make the lines, all tools are included except wire cutters - but any will work. A pair of pliers with the cutter will cut the cable no problem. Also really like that everything is stainless steel so I won't have rust looking hardware in a year.

I have put up 4-48' strings for the upper and lower patio levels using these fasteners. Everything needed was in the box and of good quality stainless steel. I just bought a second box for an additional project and was not disappointed. If you bought these at a Hdwe store the price would be astronomical and you wouldn't be able to find everything you need.

I watched a you tube on how to hang string lights on my property. The you tube demonstrator suggested this kit. I couldn't be happier. This kit has absolutely everything you need and it is all stainless steel. It made the job of hanging my string lights a breeze.
