Really good at its job
I have a pair of Merrell hiking shoes that I've been using pretty hard for a few years. They're still going strong, but I noticed during a hike that my socks were getting wet in a light rain, so I figured it was time to deep clean and re-waterproof, so after a bit of research, I bought this.Following the directions the evening the package arrived, I removed the laces, pulled out the insoles, and cleaned everything thoroughly with just water. When the shoes were still damp, I took them outside and sprayed them liberally with this stuff.Normally I would have let them air dry at a normal room temp (maybe in the garage or something). But I was actually heading out for a camping trip the next morning, so a bit crunched for time. I put them on top of my air conditioner compressor in the back yard. It was a very hot day, so that thing was blowing air probably upwards of 100°F. The shoes were bone dry within a couple of hours. All the same, the waterproofing seems to have worked great. No issues after re-lacing, everything felt normal. Honestly the waterproof-ness didn't get put to the test until months later, when I accidentally got too adventurous when fishing at a lake, and stepped into a marshy bog. The shoe went totally underwater, not quite up to the top where water could have gotten down into it. Maybe just a few drops got in, and my sock was dry within 20 minutes.

Works like a charm!
This is a quality product. When you first apply the spray, it turns the material dark. This worried me at first, however, once dried the shoes looked brand new. I used this spray on my Ugg slippers. I feel confident my shoes are protected. Easy to use. Good value for money.

Works so far
I did a little test on the heall and it seems to be working out pretty good. I first used a clean new brush and brushed the grain in One direction. sprayed it from about a foot away outside with heard spritzes so that it was even all the way around then I brushed the shoes the opposite direction Spritz them all with hard spritzes about a foot away evenly all the way around with fine mist and let them sit outside for about 30 minutes before I brought them in then I put them in my garage overnight. No spots, the trick is even pressure on the sprayer and not dribbling it so that some spots come out thicker than others the distance is to remain consistent. You can't expect products to do the work for you an aerosol would be easier, the chemical seems to be good enough.

Go ahead and buy it (:
This baby works like a charmmm ✨I followed the directions and wet my Ugg boots and then applied the spray. I was in a bunch of snow and went skiing and there was not any water stains on my uggs! The spray is very effective and easy to use. Great value for money & I only used around 3 pea sized amounts, so the bottle will last for a really long time.

Perfect for suede
We purchased this for suede and it works flawlessly. It repels water and helps to clean the shoes.

Bottle leaks
The product works great for waterproofing suede. But the bottle came leaking and leaks when you are using it to apply to the suede.

Pleasantly surprised
I was nervous to try this, but glad I did. I used in conjunction with the Nikwax cleaning gel. I was worried it would be splotchy and uneven, but it looks fine. There is one faded streak in one spot, which I think is due to the cleaning gel and will probably come out the next time I clean them (if that's ever even needed). As others mentioned, there was a bit of darkening to the color, which I expected. One of my pictured shows this where I pull out the boot tongue for comparison (I didn't really treat the inner overlap of the tongue). Another picture shows how water just beads off of them now. I only braved holding them under the faucet for about 2 seconds, so not sure when they would start absorbing water. I used about half of the bottle, but I ended up going back in to release one of the boots and having to spray it a second time haha.
