I would use a spray adhesive on the plywood then stick the decking down.

The back of the product comes with strong double-sided tape. If you want to be stronger, you can prepare some double-sided tape.

My glass is lightly textured and it is holding up fine. Used it on my swim step

Adhesive peeled off

Installed on my boat and within a few weeks of literally sitting in my driveway the adhesive came undone. I’d be happy to get another one maybe I got a dud or a refund would be nice. Any kind of response would be appreciated
