Overall very good
This is a good and reliable product. The transducer needs the correct special for transducer antifouling paint. Normal hull antifoul can damage the transducer. When painting the transducer it is important not put too much paint on rotating paddle surfaces. Prior to painting spin the paddle to get a feel for how free it spins. After the painting and the paint is dried. Spin the paddle again. It should spin the same. If not, spray a little WD40 on the rotating areas and spin it again. That should free up the paddle. The transducer maintenance plug can break the flapper on the transducer thru hull. Care in both insertion and extraction is important. These units do fail after a few years of use. I recommend having a spare on hand. Overall the transducer is accurate and reliable when operating.

Comes complete with housing.
This is as described and has the wires for connection to the ITC5. ( Analogue output) as against the smart ones with NMEA 2000 output. It does come with the Through hull housing although not in the picture.Only 3 stars as this is a replacement for a 2 year old one that lost Speed and Temp outputs and the flap broke out on the second pull for cleaning. The flap is very flimsy. We got nowhere with warranty claim to Airmar.
