5'2" female setup solo first time in under 20mins
Dude this is awesome! I had zero breeze on the set up day. I had bought a returned item and everything looked factory packed. I can see how in any breeze it would be a challenge but that's the nature of this type of fabric. I realized after that I had a bunch of tent pegs for widening the mesh at floor level. There is such a generous portion of mesh, I cannot imagine how anything could get in or out. I even had to help my chiweenie in, he was stuck outside the mesh. I love it. When it's only draped over the rear hatch, it makes a good privacy screen. I anticipate using it mostly as just as a big bug proof privacy screen and forgo the whole poles assembly. That way it won't have any problems with wind. As one other reviewer mentioned, the guy ropes for the pegs? Reflective piping sewn in. A lot safer, can be seen well in dark!! I'm so glad I bought this one! I absolutely love it! And I got it all easily back into the bag it came from which is great too!

Made a huge difference in van camping experience
I got this tent in Jan 2022 and used it on multiple minvan solo camping trips. It extended my "living" area, allowing me to cook, read, work on crafting projects while protected from bugs. Some observations based on my experience:--it was very easy to set up and take down once I got the hang of it. I could set the tent up by myself in less than 10 minutes (and I am a senior with not a lot of upper arm strength).--packed, it did not take up much space. And space was a premium when the minivan was my home for 1-2 months at a time.--the mesh netting prevented bugs from getting in, as long as there were no openings/gaps. Besides using stakes, I anchored the netting with water jugs, containers, chairs and table. I camped near Lake Winnipeg, Canada and in Minnesota in late April; the mosquitoes swarmed just outside the tent. Early on, I was careless and snagged the mesh on something, causing small rips. I used needle and yarn to close them up; lesson learned, have not had any new rips since.--the poles extended the tent space but needed soft ground to put down stakes to hold the poles upright. This was a problem when the ground was very hard, or was paved/asphalt. In those cases, I left out the poles and tied the ropes to a tree or structure. Space was reduced but still usable (see photo).--I have camped under the tent in the rain; as long as it was not pouring or very windy, the tent held up well although some rain may blow in through the mesh. Tip: keep a very large plastic bag to hold a wet tent when leaving camp.A few negatives:--the one time I could not set up the tent was a very windy day and the ground was hard. The poles went down, nearly hitting the side of my minivan and the netting blew about. After that I would not even bother to set up tent in similar conditions.--The stakes that came with the tent were useless. I bought heavy duty 10" tent pegs plus a mallet which worked much, much better.--Despite several attempts, I was not able to use the tent on the side of the minivan as stated on the product page. At some campsites, having the tent on the side door would have been better. In summary, for less than $100 at the time I purchased it, this tent improved my minivan camping experience. Breakfast under the tent, with a panaromic view of the natural surrounding: priceless. Also, I received a lot of attention, comments and questions from fellow campers when they saw the tent set up.

Nice
This is not a heavy-duty canopy, but this little tent is so easy to set up. A perfect in a pinch shade, and bug screen. I am really happy with this item fit in a small case, take it along and store it in your trunk.

Decent Product, but…
This is not a bad awning, but it arrived in an obviously used condition and damaged. The net had holes in it and the bag was torn. Returned.

Waste of moneys
Ya get what ya pay for, great idea bad execution. Little wind and down she goes. Really is a pain to set up as well. Could be "operator error" as far of the set up, but the instructions are terrible. Buy a more sturdy product.

Set up was easy.
Updated review: one year later. I have used the screen tent numerous times. It is still easy to set up however the loops that the stakes go through tear off easily. I have to repair a few of them and strengthen the others. Hope this is improved in future tents. Other than that I love this screen tent! The storage bag is also generously sized so it is easy to put away.Nice light weight, easy to set up, easy to tear down and put away. For setup I partially close the hatch, attach ties to the roof rails, then put hatch up all the way.I am 5'1" and was able to set this up by myself. The first time took about 10 mins. I set it up in my driveway and took it down about 30 minutes later. We'll see how it goes this weekend while camping.

worked as needed though not heavy wind resistent
Strong winds required remounting a few times. < to be expected I supposeThe lines required to hold the poles will be stretched out a bit, so consider tying a cloth or flag on those lines to help with visibility to avoid tripping over.
