Pop-Up Stopper Basic V2.2

This product has an activation key and the producer's web site is apparently no longer on line. You just can't activate the product.

It did not work very well and they wanted a payment after a few weeks so I removed it from My PC.

I bought this program new from a department store. This is a strong pop up blocker. It nails every pop up add that tries to show its ugly little head. The only bad thing is that this program also blocks opening Internet explorer (on the desktop) and various other programs such as yahoo mail opening from messeger. The fix is to hit the control key when attempting to open the window. Then it will open . I don't like having to do this. None the less it is a effective program on my cable internet connection.

I recieved this product free from my internet provider. It has worked less well as time has gone on. After two months now, with the program running, my pop up ad problems are just as bad as they ever were. I guess the ad programmers have figured out how to beat this program.

I bought a copy of this product from a reseeler and it is not working right so i contacted panicware for some help and all i am getting is the run around about where i bought it, almost like they do not want to help because i did not buy it from them.in a e-mail i sent them i told them what it was doing and they responded by saying if you bought it enter the code, but i had told them that did not help so for 4days i have been dealing with them and I still am no further than i was. They are being no help at all.

This extermly basic program is not only is hard to install but barely works. Anyone that knows anything about the internet know the proxomitron program and a little skill can do the same thing 5 times as good.

It does stop the majority of annoying pop-up ads.
