Just bought another one
Hi, this product is sturdy, great value, and easy to assemble. Everything seemed perfect until I started mounting rack devices in the lower section:The problem is that the square rack mount holes (for each 1U) are supposed to be measured in groups. Each 1U has holes positioned at (0.25"-hole-0.625"-hole-0.625"-hole-0.25"), so the holes from 1U to the next 1U are 0.5" apart. This pattern has to match on each side of the rack. They got the right side tracks welded on correctly, but the left side tracks are off by 1 hole. I was still able to get my rack items mounted, but instead of 2x0.625" (or 1-1/4" within each 1U space), my holes are 0.625"+0.5" (or 1-1/8" within each 1U space... and 0.625" up to the next 1U.Sorry if you can't follow this "clear as mud" explanation but if you look at a rack dimension drawing diagram like they have on wikipedia, you'll understand. The gist is that the left side vertical rack rails do not match the right side vertical rack rails.I would need a new entire left side post to fix this, however, I have been able to fit the mounting holes of the misaligned left side, with a little bit of effort. For the price, this rack is really amazing... except for the outlined flaw and that's minor. Everything else was great. I have plans to buy another one of these for a future Behringer 2600 synth which will take 8U. By the way, there is 9U in the bottom portion of the rack and up to 12U in the top. If you are clever you can get 10U in the bottom. Love this rack.UPDATE: The Behringer 2600 will arrive this week which is 8U. Another 3U for a eurorack rack full of modules to compliment the Behringer 2600... for example, two more 2600-VCO modules.

Great solid rack
Great solid rack, easy to put together , instructions are very vague though. Be careful of sharp edges around the rack strip inserts . It’s a great rack for the price no doubt.

Simple and effective
Initially I was looking for a road case but didn't have $400+ to burn right now. I saw this and thought at least for the short term I'm not transporting my gear (I'm setting up a home studio) so since it's pretty cheap I'll give it a try before one of the kids knock over my precariously stacked gear. It's interesting engineering, huge Allen head bolts into light walled square tubing. The bolts are so substantial they can easily be over torqued and crush the tubing. I was concerned at first until I assembled it. It went together easily and did have instructions contrary to some reviews. The instructions were a bit vague but there isn't that much to it, my 6 year old and I put it together in maybe 10 minutes. He then proceeded to ride it around on the hard wood floors. It will hold some weight and rolls freely. I put my 16 channel Yamaha mixer on top with a furman power conditioner. On the bottom a couple of amps and several processors with room to spare. It still rolls with ease however I did have to order some different cables ( since it's not all stacked up 3 ft high anymore) and some cable management items to clean it up. I did like the nuts with the clips on them that came with the rack and I'd like to get a few more as some of my 1U units only have 2 bolts in them , realisticly that's probably plenty but... Only complaint is a lack of attention to detail during manufacturing, when they mug welded in the bolts and such they didn't clean off all the slag and I got a minor cut during assembly. A sanding disc and a couple of minutes took care of it. I'm quite please overall.

Fits the Behringer 2600!
[EDIT] I added a Behringer Eurorack 19" adapter and it's GREAT!I got this as a permanent home for my beloved BARP 2600. It fits great and overall I love it. Feels quite sturdy and the casters roll well. Was simple to put together. I installed the crossbars below the synth, but I'm pretty sure those are only included for holding a mixer or something on top that isn't rack mountable.I do have a few nitpicks, but nothing that would keep me from recommending it:1. It's not really 9U. I think it's 12U maybe? I don't mind it, but was surprised at how large it is. On the other hand, there's about 6" of space left at the bottom, which would be perfect for a few Eurorack utility modules... Update: I ended up doing this and I love it! See last pic.2. I wish it were taller, or height-adjustable. My desk is counter height (36"), so it's not quite as short as it seems in the pictures. And it's fine this way really, I just wish it were taller is all.3. The bars that go on the bottom just lie there, there is no way to permanently mount them. I guess they work if you want to put something down there, but otherwise they just slide around. I'm gonna ditch them.4. I wish the washers and casters and rack-mount screws were black. I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel here for nitpicks.
