Frozen Salmon cooked to perfection in about 15 minutes
This is my third purchase of one of these versatile cookers that combine halogen, convection, and infrared heat technology to render a wonderful meal, without heating the entire house with a huge kitchen oven. Best of all, it can cook food from a frozen state, with no need to defrost; it can cook multiple foods at the same time—on different levels, and uses less energy and time to cook. It also cool when you turn the lights off, leaving it to glow its own romantic light. A glass of wine adds to the mood. But I digress. These little portable ovens sell with various descriptions, e.g. toaster ovens, oilless friers, etc., but the internal functions are—as far as I can tell—the same. My first purchase was the Super Wave Oven, by The Sharper Image some twelve years ago. I replaced it when the heating element no longer glowed or heated. My next was the Big Boss Oil-Less Fryer, which I still use. I bought this Nutrichef Toaster Oven as a back-up, to replace my Big Boss when it fizzles out some day. So, I haven’t used it. I hope it’ll be a long time before I need to open the box, like when I’m in my mid 80s. I haven’t used my regular oven since I discovered these wonderful ovens. With the extension ring that increases the cooking space, you can cook a whole 16 pound turkey in about 3-1/2 hours. I’m partial to cooking my frozen salmon steaks in about 15 minutes. No frying pan to attend, and I get delicious, non-greasy sealed-in flavor. I bought this Nutrichef, because it had the best price at the time.

Enormous but functions well
This air fryer works beautifully. I was skeptical about the glass bowl, but it really does clean up easily, and for my family of 4, it's large enough for us to be able to cook for all of us instead of in batches. This would have been five stars except for two major cons: (1) the air fryer is a space hog. I don't use it every day, and I was hoping to be store it in a cabinet like I did with my old one, but it does not fit. Thankfully, I can leave it out on the counter, but I had to clear and reserve double the space because of the lid. Because the lid contains the heating element, you cannot place it directly on the counter when you open the air fryer to check on or remove your food. I keep the steel ring out next to the air fryer so that when I need to remove the lid, i can set it on the ring. If you don't have a lot of spare counter space, I'd think very carefully about buying this model. (2) the accessories that are included are practically worthless. The grills are too side and frozen fries or bite-size appetizers fall through (I had to purchase two separate grills anyway), and the tongs are absolutely worthless. Invest in a good set of silicone-tipped ones instead.

Just putting title because this is required.
So far so good! This cooker has worked wonders. It has been used a few times and no complaints at this time. We replaced our air fryer with this device so I am hoping that it works as well as some of the other reviews.

Didn't last 16 months
I really liked this convection oven when I first got it. It worked well up until 3 months ago when it would only turn on after finagling with the handle about a half a dozen times. Now today, it was running fine but then just suddenly stopped halfway through cooking dinner. No amount of finagling would get it to turn back on. No fan, no heat, no lights. Nothing. Just the timer works.I can't believe this oven only lasted 13 months before starting to malfunction. I have owned these type of convection ovens since the early 90s. My first one, a Galloping Gourmet, lasted over 15 years. This is only the third one I have had to buy in all of that time and it is by far the WORST one. Not worth the price they are asking.I cannot recommend this defective product. Very disappointing that I wasted my money on this oven.

Appliances must have
Finally I replaced my old airfryr and it's huge. My kids love making French fries. So easy to use. Highly recommended.

Does it all - fast!
This is my third bowl-type convection oven and the best yet. The technology has greatly improved over the past decade or so. This new one is 2" larger in diameter than my old one and has a wider temperature range. It feels better built and safer. I had a prefect pizza crust from scratch in about 5 minutes. The bowl shape allows for cooking fairly large dishes and stacking at least two layers of food- 3 with the extender. Plus, it is so much easier to clean than the standard air frier/toaster oven! The whole bowl goes in the sink.I don't know why anyone buys the non-bowl kind. (I, personally, hated cleaning toaster ovens and conventional ovens). I never use my conventional oven any more except to store pans. The bowl kind uses less energy, gives off so less heat, and frankly does a more precise job with less mess.I use mine for baked good, roasting/broiling meats and vegetables, oven fries, pizza, reheating and thawing. I even have a toasting rack for making toast.Accessories, such as extra racks, are easy to get and stack to store. I also recommend a pair of silicone oven mitts and a steel lid rack for the hot top. This bowl oven will also take any 10" pan that you could put in a conventional oven, including Pyrex- lovely to cook, store and serve in one dish.

Stopped working after 20 months of daily use
Worked well while it lasted. Stopped working less than 2 years after purchasing. The cook times are under estimated. It really takes longer than what it states. If something says 7 minutes at 400, You’re really looking at 12 minutes at 400. It’s difficult to wash and the glass top where the heating and motor are located are very difficult to keep clean and stain free. Besides that it gets the job done without any plastics or harmful chemicals leeching into your food. You are warned
