Adorable
I bought this as a Christmas gift my daughters four years old and she really got into the song. I want a hippopotamus for Christmas. So I looked everywhere for a hippopotamus a cute one and this is just a job. Only problem was that it came after Christmas. So the shipping was late. Oh, but it’s very soft to the skirt is a sock material really cute. There is also a problem with the stitching in the face to where it’s the left eye is stitched down, but the right eye is not it easy fix but I wish I wouldn’t have had to fix it. Other than that it’s super adorable. Your child would love it.

A variance of colors but it works great!
The pink's vary in color. The original one is a soft pastel pink. The latest is a bright pink. Perhaps that's out of the manufacturer's control? If it matters to you then you will see a huge difference. Aside from that it's a great doll! Paired up with a couple of books works too! 1.) I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. OR 2.) Helena Hippo & the Magic Ballet Slippers. I would recommend this doll.

Cutest hippo ever!
You will fall in love with this hippo! It's so soft, so gorgeous, so sweet to the eyes, with a smooth surface and the best of all, you can change it clothes. Well, there's only one dress included, but it's so easy to sew a new one. I'm sure this is a great gift to a girl. Regarding height, it's 11" with the legs straight, it's not the height while seated, so when you receive it, you will find it rather small. That was a little disappointing, but I know it was just my mistake. Anyway, I'd love it taller, it would be even cuter.

Hot pink stuffy
My daughter got it hot pink I was very upset because she lost her old stuffy that was like that she was expecting a baby pink stuffy this is okay but the color needs to be right next time

Cuter than heck
This little hippo is just the cutest, very soft and lots of detail on the costume. This is for a 3 year old who asked Santa for a Hippo for Christmas (don't know why) and Santa brought one but I couldn't resist this one. A little pricey.

Not as pictured
These are not pink as they look in picture and definitely not 14” high .tacky pink. Bought them for grand daughters recital had them delivered there so I had no choice but to give to them.
