Fits my forester perfectly. Really easy setup and take down if you needed. Very universal and can use a lot on them. Great quality for the price. Would recommend this over a $300 fancy one any day of the week. Very quiet even on the highway. Works really well

Great option for someone who isn’t using them daily. It’s a pain in the butt to install on the forester wilderness because as others mentioned the rubber pieces are just a smidge too big to allow for a flush fitting. They seem to be super solid though and for the price I really am happy with them overall. There isn’t a lock but sheesh if someone wants to go through all that to get them off then they deserve them.

I purchased these rack system because I bought my granddaughter a kayak for Christmas and needed to transport it to her home 3 hours away. These have a nice feel and was excited to put on, but when I went to install on my 2015 forester the screws were extremely difficult to tighten. The tool they gave to tighten didn’t really fit the screws and would pop out and strip screw. Instructions were not that great either, showing you to tighten the width once on roof… IMPOSSIBLE to do with the horrible screwdriver. Tried to undo and remove and I can not remove now. It does not loosen enough to swing out the piece to remove from the side rail. Very disappointing.

Installation is easy. I do recommend tightening the panel screws first if you have big hands. It’s a tight fit. Installing them on the side rails was pretty easy. The rubber foots fit perfectly that came installed already. One screw did strip a little but that was my fault so be careful when tightening. Would definitely buy again.

Its ok. But it’s not plush. No matter you tighten it you can still move push easily.

I was happy that everything fit. It came with three different shaped rubber inserts. I chose the correct one to fit our 2023 Subaru Forester. I added some never seize to each bolt because past experience they have seized but I think it was over kill. We just use it for our ski racks so these are perfect.

Easy to install. Sturdy as well. I put two kayaks on the rack with highway travel, they did not move. There are also some reviews that make mention of noise, I did not notice any increase in noise before and after installation.
