How to measure your dog for the chain collar:

Measure 1) the largest part of your dog's head, and 2) the middle of his/her neck.
Determine the size of the collar you need using your dog’s head measurements if your dog's head is larger than his/her neck.
Determine the size of the collar you need using your dog’s neck measurements if his/her neck is larger than the head.
Now add 2" to to the above measurements (head or neck) for larger dogs and 1" to 1.5" for smaller dogs. This is the size collar you will need.

This training chain collar is made of brass. This copper-zinc alloy doesn’t contain nickel. Thus this metal is hypoallergenic and won’t cause rash or itching to nickel-reactive pooches. Moreover, brass dog supply has a golden shine and looks like a necklace. The only disadvantage of this material is that it’s much softer than steel.

This brass choke chain collar will do for dogs with dark fur as it may stain light coat. If your pet has white hair consider a stainless steel chain collar.
