In use for about two weeks with a 13 month old and so far we are really pleased. We had tried the in-cabinet magnetic locks previously and they were a fail. They didn’t easily fit inside all our cabinets and drawers, the adhesive was easily ripped off by adults and babies like, and it was a pain to use the magnet to unlock the cabinets and drawers all the time. These straps are visible, but relatively unassuming. The adhesive worked almost right away, even when adults accidentally tried to open drawers and cabinets. They are easy to open one handed and the best thing is you can keep them unlocked when baby is in bed or out of the house. Time will tell how long they fool our little one, how the adhesive lasts, and whether it will be easy to remove them without damaging our cabinets, but so far these BabyKeeps locks were worth the money.

You HAVE to watch the how to do this video first! Do not be like me thinking you've got it figured out and waste one lol! Once I watched the video, it was easy peasy and I love these latches. I have seen the sticky come up a little off the cabinet, but I just put pressure on it and it's fine. I love that they match our cabinet perfectly, and compared to some latches that you have to open from inside the cabinet, which is a total pain, these are sooo much better! We use them for drawers as well and they work great! Highly recommend!

This is a great product. I needed baby proofing for my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I was not willing or able to drill holes in my cabinets to install other types of locks so these seemed like a good option. They were very simple to install and they work great! I love that they are easy to open and close. My five year old can do it, but they keep the baby out. If they are sitting unlocked I can even push them together with my knee to lock them which is handy when your in a hurry or have full hands. Definitely recommend. I ended up buying 2 more sets to finish off the babyproofing.

These adhered to our wooden cabinets just fine and blended in quite well also. They lock securely but are easy to unlock quickly once you understand how they work. They can be unlocked and opened with one hand with no difficulty. I did have to bend a couple around some awkward corners due to our kitchen design and they worked surprisingly well in those situations, and still locked securely even at those strange angles. I would recommend measuring before you put them on and using a small pencil mark to mark where they need to stick before actually sticking them on but this isn't required, it just might make things easier. As long as you get them level on the same horizontal line, the length can be adjusted even after they are stuck on easily. I would recommend you give these a shot if you don't mind them being visible on the outside of the cabinets.

My son can yank these straight off a cabinet or a door. I almost wish there was a way to screw them in. They snap in half after use the plastic just wears and gives. If used most the the package on the same area because of this issue. They blend in nicely with my cabinets which I appreciate and aren’t too large.

These are GREAT for baby proofing. We put these on our cabinets in the bathroom and the kitchen and they have helped our little one stay away from anything dangerous or just to keep him from making a mess by pulling everything out of the cabinets! They are easy to install, very durable and feel like they will last as long as we need them to! They are also very easy to open/close! We even have bathroom cabinets that don’t have flat surfaces, they have sort of a rounded detailed instead of a flat area to attach to. And they are staying in place perfectly! I’ve even watched my little one pull with all his might on the cabinets and the adhesive doesn’t even budge! They also look beautiful and they don’t look “cheap” like other brands. We will definitely purchase again if we find that we need more for other areas! Definitely highly recommend!

These really do work!! Very well made and they’re so easy to install. My grandkids (2 & 4 yrs old) cannot open it but so it’s so easy to open for adults. The 4 yr old was yanking sooo hard on the pantry door to get snacks and could not and did not get it open!! I put them on cabinet drawers, and my cabinets, the pantry door, the freezer door (which the kids easily opened because it’s on the bottom) a side by side refrigerator, and the bathroom door! I wish I had these when I was raising my 5 kids!

This is my second set of these child locks. Easy to install and the work well overall. Four stars because I’ve had a couple of adhesive pads that didn’t stick well.
