My wife likes peanuts. Me … not something I think about. So, I was surprised when she began ordering little cans of, I guess Planters peanuts, the Spanish kind with the little red skins everywhere, how much I liked them. They are a little salty and slightly sweet.So, when she wanted to get some Virginia Peanuts, I thought, ‘’Why not?”. But, I like salt and pepper, so I bought these.One thing I’ll give them is that they taste great, once you crunch them up. The salt and pepper ratio is just right for me. And, they are nice and big without any of those annoying little red skins to flake off an get everywhere. These are excellent Virginia Peanuts, if Virginia Peanuts are your things … I have some friends who won’t eat anything EXCEPT Virginia Peanuts, mind you.Now, however, maybe it is because these are the first Virginia Peanuts I’ve had, or maybe it’s because these aren’t quite cooked enough. But, I find them a bit too crunchy. They do NOT taste undercooked, but they are just extremely crunchy. And, whether it is a feature of Virginia Peanuts (versus Spanish Peanuts) that these peanuts aren’t as ‘sweet’ as Spanish Peanuts, or whether they don’t taste as sweet as Spanish Peanuts because this batch wasn’t cooked as long, I don’t know.Still, I liked them, and I may buy them again, but first I may buy some other brands of Virginia Peanuts to see if they are different.

Good taste, not too overpowering and good crunchy texture

My previous review", "Have been buying the Kirkland Peanuts for some time now, my son work's there!, LOL, but wanted to try something different... I LOVE salt & pepper, so these looked like a great choice, which they were!!! VERY crunchy, seasoned perfectly... great choice... smaller container than Kirkland, but still good... you have to be a peanut lover like me to buy these...$$$ vs buying Planters @ the supermarket!... I will buy again!Update, 4/12/23... received my order, (funny, I went to cancel because it was week late and low & behold, got it the next day!...LOL) HOWEVER, the salt & pepper peanuts that I LOVE, DO NOT have that hard crunch my previous order did!!! The package was fine, seal in place, but the nut "seem" to be A LOT softer than previous! I may have to go back to Costco! STILL taste great, just not that crunch I expected!!!

In all honesty, there is nothing wrong with these other than I’d like to be more coated like wasabi peas. That is simply a preference, which means I won’t purchase these again but they tasted great aside from that.

Personally, I prefer their lightly salted peanuts, but these are admittedly tasty. The price is great, and these would be a favorite snack at parties as well as for my late night snacks.

I thought at this price these would be great tasting w/ a lot of zing, chili/lime flavor. I should have read the reviews first, they just taste like plain peanuts. Save your money.

I love the flavor and crunch of these peanuts, but the entire can was mostly halves and pieces. Very few whole peanuts, unlike the first time I purchased them. They're expensive, but good.

I originally bought these for my husband from a gift shop in Williamsburg, Va. He loved them so much that he googled how to order more. Thanks to Amazon it's easy! And we keep them in our pantry at all times. I am not a fan of HOT so I can't recommend them for myself. But I will tell you that my husband is a big foodie and hard to impress so if he likes them this much they MUST be good. :)
