Multi-purpose and folds to compact size
Pros: light and compact compared to other picnic shades, also using it as a cover on my 10’ round Intex Prism pool, decent quality.Cons: none so far

Moderately difficult to set up
I bought this to use while car camping to serve as a sun and rain canopy over picnic tables. I have only used it twice, once in the rain and once in hot weather and sun. It was useful both times and I am glad I had it with me. Quality is adequate and what should be expected for the price. The fabric is strong, waterproof and heavy. The grommets worked fine. The poles are very strong but simply constructed. The stakes are 1/8” steel rod. They are adequate but I had better extra stakes that I used instead ( 8” Easton aluminum). Setting it up with one person in a breeze was difficult. In any more wind two people would be required. Once both poles are vertical and staked out in a V, the rest is easy. Height above the ground is just adequate to go over a table or low tent. Taller poles with longer guy lines would give more versatility. A second set of shorter poles would allow raising one side for more head room. I am satisfied with what I got for what I paid. I will eventually buy some longer adjustable poles and use the originals on the side.

trash!
The poles and cords were cheap as heck! The poles bent from wind during the install....and the wind wasn't even that horrible. 45 minutes out of the box, it had tangled cords and bent poles and ended in the trash.

Best for good weather - get separate poles
We bought this for our summer camping trip. It worked well to keep out light rain but doesn’t handle much more. It’s also useless in the wind. It’s difficult to set up There’s a learning curve to setting this up and doesn’t include instructions. I would recommend buying this if you aren’t going where the weather will be rough and if you get separate sturdier poles.

Works great
Purchased right before a camping trip last week. Started to rain when setting up camp. We were able to set this up first and then set camp up underneath out of the rain. Perfect. Large enough to cover the back of the truck bed, 4 person tent snd 2 person bling underneath.

Worked great for shade at Burning Man
Easy to set up / tear down. Lightweight and perfect shade. Withstood decent winds (but I took it down when out of camp in case there were 60-70 mph winds).

Great if you're afraid of the dark
Being under this cover feels almost like being in direct sunlight. It doesn't feel like it Shades much at all. I should have returned it within the window.
