Beck/Arnley 036-1524 Valve Cover Gasket Set

Did a timing belt on a CRV. While it was apart, figured it was time to replace the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube gaskets as well. This set worked perfectly. Main reason I got the Beck Arnley is the reputation. There are a LOT of cheaper gasket sets but most are made in China and they don't do rubber products very well. Typically, the rubber will deteriorate in a few months in contact with oil and the leaks start. Buy a good quality part and do the job right the first time.

Did valve lash adjustment on b18b1 and the old Fel-Pro lekaed immediately. This was 1/4 of the price of Autozone and the perfect size. I used no hondabond or rtv sealant and it worked perfectly. Driven 500 miles and no leaks.

My kit was missing a spark plug O seal. It was a factory closed package so I guess they made a mistake. I called them and they sent me a set of 4 new ones but the postage was due. The product itself was good and fit my 1999 CRV 2.0 correctly.

Good quality parts, everything you need to seal valve cover and spark plug tubes. even comes with new rubber grommet washers for the re-installation of valve cover. I did use a little sealant around the sharp corners of the cams, but I think its ok without it too. Easy installation, I supervised my millennial son, and it was no problem.

Work well.. used better quality gasket I already purchased from local parts store that didn't come with grommets but I hadn't noticed at the time.

Arrived with only 3 large seals and 5 small (description shows 4 large and 7 small). Factory seal still intact, was packed this way, poor quality control. Will have to reorder or do a half-*** job.
