This little tripod really impressed me on a vacation last year. It held a Sony A7iii with a 28-70mm lens without issue. I had initial anxiety about using this to prop up expensive equipment but was very impressed with how it handled. The grips are cleverly designed to hold on tight to different protruding objects, so in effect, you can extend the height of this tripod using anything from a railing to a branch of a tree.I can highly recommend for travel photography.This is also very useful for taking hyper-lapse video's on mobile.

Arrived quickly, satisfied with the quality. Perfect fit for my Sony camera.

Supports my dslr quite well but if you pull weirdly from the legs they come off… I don’t know how long it would last

Really pleased that I paid the extra for one of the 'chunkier' gorilla pods. It's well made with really solid (to the point of stiff) joints and comfortably holds a larger mirrorless camera and prime lens in all sorts of positions. Equally, it's not to heavy and I happily strap it to my bike when out and about.

Did not include the mobile mount and was in scruffy condition despite being described as ‘Used - As New.’ I did a lot of research to choose this version for its stability on uneven surfaces, so will probably buy it again but brand new.

We have used it over the festive period in various settings. Good stability even with a large camera on it. Lightweight and versatile: it is easy to switch between the mobile phone adapter (separately purchased) and the larger camera.

I got this for my Sony A6500 camera and it was very sturdy. The only thing I would advise to anyone who wants to use Big lenses is to size up to the bigger one. this one is comfortable for up to a 50mm lens I would say. Great product

This is brilliant. I'd used a very cheap version and I liked the thought of it but the construction was poor and the short foam covered legs were no good for wrapping around things. So I thought I'd spend some money on a proper one. After a bit of research I went with this and I'm mostly very pleased I did. All of the parts are very robustly made with high quality materials I expect will last for a very long time and the tripod is the perfect balance of being long enough to wrap around chairs, roof bars, branches, railings, etc but portable enough to still be kind of pocket sized.The only drawback is the phone holder part. It's fiddly and only just about able to accommodate my Pixel 7 pro in its case. You have to squeeze with a large amount of pressure at the same time as tightening the knob to ensure the phone won't slip or fall out (which happened a few times before I figured out the right technique). It's okay if you're setting it up for a long period of shooting but very inconvenient if you want to mount and unmount often, say on a hike. I was hoping it would tighten using a worm screw or be spring loaded but unfortunately not.
