They actually work....
They did a decent job and got the price it was worth giving them a shot. Now would I tell you to use them if you weld everyday? No, but for a quick bead line or spot weld they work fantastic burn in its not that bad as far a plasma cutter I would not recommend them but they do work which surpassed my expectation. I work a mechanic so they're handy to have around the shop. We do not weld here every day. But they're handy to have.

Good choice for Oxy-Acetylene torch work
Excellent goggles for Oxy-Acetylene work. I have been using this style of goggle for 40 years. Bought this set of goggles as spares for the times when another set gets misplaced or lost. This style is best because it fits much more closely to the face than the double goggle style, and greatly reduces the amount of sparks and molten metal that get through between the goggle and users face. For Oxy-Acetylene work. NOT for electric welding! I actually read a ridiculous review here on Amazon where the inexperienced owner tried to use these goggles for electric arc welding and got "flashed". Wrong use of this goggle. Not sure how this guy didn't know this. These goggles are Shade 5. That means gas welding work only. Arc welding requires much darker shade of lens.

nice little goggles
everythings good, but the tough plastic frame sits hard around the eyes, could use some sort of padding

Great for gas torches
These are great for a torch with an oxy/air line. I hate wearing a full welding hood when using a bright torch, but definitely appreciate the shade these provide. Not full dark like for welding, but dark enough where your eyes aren't strained when using a torch.

They’re ok.
I bought these to use for Sporting Clays where I have to take a target that’s crossing the sun. Works ok for that, but the frames are rather large and can block some of my vision on a crossing shot. Not their intended usage, but the work well enough for the price.
