Perfect for my home theater curtains
I have floor to ceiling open baffle woofers at each end of the screen in my home theater and wanted a solution to put a curved curtain around them and this worked perfect. They're easy to work with, they come with all the mounting hardware, just curve it to whatever shape you need and screw it down. The little hangers move along it nice and smooth. Works great!

Great curtain solution
We got these for a long stretch of windows for which a regular curtain rod wouldn't be feasible. They glide incredibly smoothly and are a great solution. Our only complaint is the distance between the top of the track and the bottom of the clips is too much - we use these for blackout curtains and this large gap lets in too much light. They also come very tightly coiled and even after trying to flatten them out for days they still are slightly curved all the way along - would be great if they would relax more.

Don't be in a hurry
Most of the reviews for this curtain track were good except the part about straightening it out and the screws that came with it. I used our own screws so can't comment on the included screws. It does come coiled up in about a foot square box. Yes it is stiff and you do need to work with it to straighten it out. We worked with it over the course of 4 days. Unrolled it the best we could the first day and held the ends as far apart as it would allow. The next days were working it straighter and straighter. It still had a little twist to it but it was easy to install. During this process I used 4 2x4's with clamps on our deck handrails to clamp it to. I should add we left it outside during this time so the sun would heat it up. It was in the summer when we did this so that helped. I then hung it by myself and it would be easier if you have someone else to help manage the length of it. This one was 16' long. Very good product for this application!

Didn't work for me AT ALL
I'm really baffled by all the good reviews. I am not a novice with construction, even though that shouldn't matter for something like this, but this was the most frustrating install I've attempted in a long time. I purchased this thinking I was going to have time to install it before I went out of the country for a few weeks, but I wasn't able to. I assumed this would be super simple so I put it off until I came back which was of course outside the return window. I don't even know where to start. I purchased the 16 ft length that needs to be straightened out before use. I left it out straight for about a week weighed down and it still had quite a bit of curve to it. The directions call for brackets to be placed basically every foot and maybe more if needed for curves. I was only provided with 12 brackets. So maybe that's where this project already started to fail. I drew out my line and installed the brackets as strategically as possible to attempt to make it work. I was also shorted screws, and the ones I did have were horrible and kept stripping. I ended up making a trip to the store to get my own anchors and screws. That worked a lot better and held much more securely. When I attempted to hang the track, however, no mater what I did, it kept popping out. The teeny tiny lip that was supposed to be clipped onto the brackets was just getting small slits in it from the edges of the bracket clips and the integrity continued to suffer. I was so frustrated and angry that I just threw the whole track in the trash since it was useless and I didn't want it to be sitting around taking up space. I'm super annoyed now because I just wasted my money and time on junk that was poorly designed, and wasn't adequately supplied.

LOVE
Obviously takes some work to put this together but it was honestly super easy to install. Because the strip is made of plastic it’s not perfectly bone marrow straight when you put it up BUT if that’s not a deal breaker for you, it’s honestly fine. The gliders slide smooth and from standing view looking at the curtains, the strip looks great and straight, It’s only when you stand under that you see that it’s not but this gets the job done and I absolutely LOVE IT! Highly recommend this if you want a ceiling track for your curtains. And for the price, this product can’t be beat! Get it asap, I love mine.

Tips for installation
I absolutely LOVE IT!Once I installed all my track holders on the ceiling, I needed a way to measure where to cut the track. My pattern has several curves so in order to get the correct length I got a piece of string and started at once end on the ceiling and tapped it up with painters tape. Then I outlined the pattern on the ceiling with the string, taping as needed to make sure the string was not sagging or hanging anywhere. Once I cut the proper length I cut the string. Outlined the string along the track and then used a dremel tool to cut it faster than a hacksaw. I sanded the end of the track a little so the end cap would go over plastic, if there is extra plastic it won't fit. The cut I made ended up being perfect!I also used my own wood screws because the ones provided are cheap and the heads were stripping. I used #6 x 1-5/8" phosphate interior wood screws because they are black.

Quality Product, but difficult to install
This product was able to hold large acoustical blankets that I use for a podcast corner in my room. It held the weight of the blanket with ease and the track allows me to slide them back and fourth with ease as well. The downside of this product is that the track comes coiled up. You are supposed to flatten out the track and allow it to sit for 24+ hours and even then the track isn't perfectly straight. But you can adjust it pretty easily to make it straight enough. Overall, I would recommend, but installation is not recommended for newbies or people who aren't handy with tools.
