Easy wet application for DIYer
This white carbon fiber patterned wrap was easy for me to put on the roof as a first time, DIYer. I use the wet method with a spray bottle as I think it's the only way it's possible because of how sticky this material is. The black top of this i3 is actually carbon fiber but being black really heated up the cabin under the sun.

Nice vinyl, not great for cutting machine
This vinyl doesn't stick to the backer. Struggled with cutting a car decal with this vinyl

Survived a wreck!
The color of this is absolutely stunning. The satin is so beautiful and I almost disappear at night with it on. It was a little tricky at first, but you definitely want a heat gun then it stretches so well!! I put this on my motorcycle and it stuck to all the curves with no problem. When it comes to the durability, it is phenomenal. I wrecked this bike and it flipped over a fence on a 94 degree day. Let me tell you what was still perfectly on. I dont know what this is made of but it stayed completely on my bike and even the parts that went flying. I will definitely be buying this again when I rebuild. You cant beat the quality for this price.

THE ULTIMATE WORSE.
Go elsewhere. Seriously, get 3M, or anything else. If you're considering this wrap to wrap your entire car, don't do it. Kept getting "fingers/wrinkles" no matter what. Yeah, you can take it out with heat, but then you literally have to work mm by mm to get it to cooperate with you.The tackiness is...strange. Some parts seemed tackier than others. I had to wrap around a trim--making sure I pressed it tightly around it. The next day it lifted from the trim causing a bubble in the center. If there was an actual air release, or if it would have adhered better, the bubble shouldn't have been there.Less than a quarter through the roll, there were SEVERAL (at least 10) feet of damaged vinyl. I contacted Amazon and they told me I needed to return it. It was over a week, I no longer had the box and it would have just been more of a hassle. If you're trying to wrap a flat surface, then sure, this will probably work for you.I used other brands before and should have stuck with them. That's what I get for trying to save money.Oh, if it gets slightly cold, it will rip when you're trying to work with it.Another reviewer posted a video of his hood wrapped saying to do it correctly. His hood was sanded. You shouldn't have to sand you car before wrapping. I did all the prep procedures and this wrap still came out horrendous. The air release is only in certain parts. I ended up having several bubbles all over the car.Wasted $300 on this product. If you have a sports car with sharp edges, don't even bother.I could keep going, but this wrap was such a headache. I would NOT RECOMMEND at all.UPFATE: Went to peel off some of it after trying to get it to work forever, and it peeled off my clear coat on my NEW AUDI. $&#! this vinyl SUCKS!

Awesome to work with nice finished look to it.
First time working with a satin-matte vinyl. Hubby wanted to black out his 2022 Ram 3500. Vvivid is my go-to vinyl for ‘difficult’ jobs (like grills). I usually plastic dip these but wholly crap!!! It would take me a week (and I'd have to rent a front-end loader to help hold his bumper lol) just to get his grill off to do it!!!Vvivid’s black matte satin black is really nice to work with. Thicker than I thought it would be but it isn't a problem and it conforms nicely with heat. Like anything they make, it is DYI-friendly so it's repositionable with less tack until heated (key point there to the folks that claim their vinyl doesn't stick). One BIG caveat to satin vinyl (I forgot with my first piece I layed)… DON’T HEAT AND PULL TOO FAR! You'll end up redoing the section because of stretch /fade marks in the vinyl. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️… (oops) Be gentile and ‘relax’ the vinyl into curves and recesses with heat. It'll do it. Have faith in it.The finished look is outstanding. I'm not done as I have to do his truck a few hours a day (at night) when hubby gets home from work so it's a slow process on a HUGE chrome grill. I think the finished product is going to look amazing and I can't wait to add the pictures!Although I do like matte and satin finishes I personally wouldn't choose it for myself. However, after working with this black and seeing it on my hubby’s truck, I've had a change of heart. 😉Highly recomend this product. Very nice silky satin finish. 👌🏻
