Anchor HockingHeritage Hill Canister, Glass, 1/2-Gallon

These are VERY nice. You can see when you are running on sugar and it is easy to dip into. Get the chalk board labels (it does not rub off) and get rid of your plastic canisters. They come in lots of sizes and I use them for candy, crackers, tea, and even in the bath room for q-tips and cotton balls. The lids keep moisture and critters out just fine. I just ordered 2 more 3qts. This morning. Very good seller, too. Oh, by they..they are not thin glass and do not chip or break.

Very nice! Good quality, price and size. Using it as a candy jar. Wish it had a gasket that makes it air tight though. It could nor be used as a cookie jar for that reason.

All i can say is they are exactly what i expected. They serve a purpose and are also great decor on your kitchen counter. Different Sugars, flours coffees, teas...store well, have wide opening to access ingredients when cooking. I bought 2 half gallon and 3 one gallon jars. Great price and quality, free shipping and they arrived with in days after placing order. I am very happy with them all!

So cute! I love these jars. Sturdy, perfect size, attractive and affordable. I ordered one and just ordered a second because I liked it so much.

I haven't decided usage yet. I like the jar in general. It has many uses but air tight is not one of them. So, first off there is no silicone type ring of any sort on top, just glass on glass, so it will be easy to break or chip.. I had some door/window stripping I placed around the rim. ( See pic) I haven't checked to see if this will be truly air tight, but, at least no glass on glass anymore!Otherwise, aside from that it's an attractive jar and again many uses!

Anchor Hocking still one of the best. Makes a great candy/cookie jar.

This item did not make it in it packaging unharmed. A piece of the glass edge was broken inside the container it appears before it was ever bubble wrapped for shipment unfortunately so I won’t be able to use this. The first picture was after taking off the bubble wrap but not yep undoing the the wrap holding the lid to the jar

Love these canisters! Attractive and well sized, these don’t have seals if that is something you want, I don’t so they are perfect

Great product, but this is the second time I've been asked for and given a positive review. 2 is one more than enough.

Doesn't have a plastic seal so not sure if it would suit everyone's needs however it was perfect for what I needed. Arrived in good time, well packed and looks lovely. Lid fits well but not an air tight seal if you are planning to store perishables.
