I love macs and had to get a new one when my old one took a poo. I love this MAC because its good for an early starter laptop. Good quality, does not need virus protection, fast, reliable. This is a steal. Only downfall which could be because of other variables which I have not identified yet, is that after 2 years of having it, it started to crash. I started to clean out old files, and make sure I was force quitting open, unused apps, as well as using safe WIFI and shutting down the laptop properly. This has happened 3 times in the past 6 months and I still don't know why. However, this mac is perfect for anyone who needs a cheap, reliable starter laptop. I'm in my senior year of college and also work at a job that requires me to use my laptop daily and this bad boy has held up. I love macs and can't wait to invest in a MacBook pro with a bigger screen when I enter grad school.

i genuinely had very low expectations, but i’m genuinely surprised. the air was exactly what was promised, in great condition and a fast system. i’d buy more from the shop tbh.

So far I’m having no issues with it and everything is working very smoothly. id definitely buy again, especially for the price.

I was so exited for my refurbished laptop , I knew it wasn’t new but nowhere did it state I’d be scratched and dirty . Definitely not what I was expecting. It didn’t come when charger . Definitely disappointed also I had to pay for shipping because label sent wasn’t correct one .

I'm ecstatic to find this, in such a good condition, and working well. I absolutely LOVED my old Rose Gold MacBook Air - perfect color, & size, but then the hard drive died and it's unrepairable. I was devastated to learn they stopped making this color (and the new MacBook Airs are slightly bigger, which I don't like, because this is so light and fits easily in my purse), except for the iPad Air 4. (I also bought that, and the color is Rose Gold, but not *exactly* the same, not as pretty). Since you are considering spending > $700 for a 5-year old computer, you're probably buying this because you love pink like I do, so that's what I'll focus on. I have several pictures comparing this to my old one that died, which I always had a cover on and was extremely careful with.The lighting in the pictures isn't great, but the top is 100% blemish-free, perfect, and the color is slightly prettier than my old one. The bottom wear is comparable, they both had a couple minor scratches. The inside did show some wear, and unfortunately this is what I mostly see, because I will always have a cover on it. The inside of my old one is in mint condition. The new one shows wear on all the keys, most notably the space bar, command & tab. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the lower-left it is also a little worn-looking.This was delivered in 2 days, came fully charged, and it worked well for several hours while unplugged. I've been using it for about a week, and there hasn't been any problems with the software.I'm going to see if DH can replace the "guts" of my new one to put in the old one because of the inside wear. But even if he can't, I'm glad I won't have to live with the latest "Gold" MacBook Air that some people say looks pink, but is too yellow. I'm VERY PLEASED with this purchase!P.S. *** update ***The first time I booted up the laptop the screen went all wonky and it was the picture was fuzzy/distorted. It only happens when the computer is turned off or the battery dies and then I turn the computer back on. It doesn’t do it when the computer is turned on or when I shut the lid and reopen it later as long as the computer is only hibernating. I’ve contacted the seller but idk if I’ll send it back, even though it’s an issue the computer came with as it’s still covered under the warranty for a short period of time.I had my reservations when ordering this listing, as I'm sure many others did. The price tag was the first reason, given that all the other listings for this particular MacBook is so much more expensive elsewhere, new and refurbished. The few negative reviews were another reason for my skepticism. However, I've been on this laptop since I received it, and the only thing I've noticed so far that worried me was the initial set up (I had a split second glitch when setting it up-the screen did that black and white fuzzy glitch thing-and it hasn't happened again since) and when I was going through the documents and such after getting all my iCloud stuff downloaded (I had a bunch of odd and mysterious sound clips that consist of just dead air... I didn't record them and they were multiplied hundreds of times-no, it was not fun to delete them all). Other than that everything has been amazing. I was able to upload and retrieve all of my old stuff from the Cloud, it's performed brilliantly, and I haven't had any issues with the batter or charging. I'm so happy I decided to shop around before spending $1099 on a refurbished one through Apple! Now I can finally get my Master's degree and feel confident about it.
