I got this because I have a pair of jeans I like but they have a whole in the pocket. The keychain is long enough to actually hang from my belt and fit in my pocket but not let the keys go through the hole. So no rattling like a cat collar when I walk around. It has surprisingly nice heavy duty material. So it should last. The button snap also has a Velcro strip that runs the length. So it won’t accidentally snap off if you rub up on something. I’m seriously impressed by this.

This belt keeper works perfectly with the rest of my equipment.

Easy to remove. Has snap for emergency removal from belt. Plus the easier to remove spring clip for regular usage .But almost a month later I still have had only 50% success, returning my key ring to my belt clip without having to use my eyes to guide my hands ... a previous larger metal $20 belt spring clip was much easier to use without having to look.Except the seatbelt often got tangled by the prior more expensive model, leaving me trapped in the car until I removed my belt. That could be fatal in accident or fire.so I bought this cheaper safer one and I'm happy with it with no safety issues at all.

I was using leather belt holders that worked fine, but they weren't waterproof and you had to pull the belt out of the pants and thread it through them. In contrast, these aren't affected by water, you don't have to remove the belt to attach them, and the spring-loaded hook is a marvel of engineering.
