Creature statistic cards for more construct, giant, humanoid and undead creatures of the 5th edition of the world's most popular fantasy RPG. This deck features creatures not in the official monster book, but converted from prior editions of the game. The cards are a deck of 60 cards (56 creature cards, one cover/checklist card and three license card). Note that two creatures span two cards each because these creatures have many abilities/traits/etc. So the deck has 54 creatures. The text on the cards is generally a 9pt font, but some cards have 7pt to 8pt font if the text wouldn't otherwise fit on the card even after shortening the text. Great for the efficient DM... depending on your use.
I really like the use of these cards. I've moved from DMing with 5 books open and a DM screen down to simplicity. I prepare with lots of material, from history books, to books from other games, monster manuals from other games, etc. - but when I'm at the table I just have a small notepad, some dice, and that's it. These cards are a great way to have monster info without having the Manual present. I can easily just tuck these cards into my notebook or a folder and keep this simple - just the monsters I need or might use.That being said - a design flaw does reveal itself. Since there is art on the back of the card, with stats on the other side... it kind of ruins my ability to leave the cards face down on the table and keep the beasties a secret. One side has the name and stats - the other shows the monster! Using a medusa? how convenient is it to have to hide BOTH sides of the card or it ruins the surprise? While I understand the efficiencies of real estate - a picture on one side and info on the other - in practicality, it can be a detriment to use. At least how I am using the cards... and for familiar monsters. More obscure monsters - it might be effective... they can see the weird creature on the back of the card, while you can view it's stats.

The fonts are terrible very hard to read
I've looked at these online and the first thing that struck me was how very bad the fonts are and how bad the overall layout is. This is an example of when you should hire a graphic designer. It just looks awful. Really poor font selection makes them very difficult to read.
