I knew it was plastic , but did not care because it is cute and perfect for what I wanted . It came very well wrapped and super fast delivery . I'm pleased , and it will be fine , as not having to worry about it falling and breaking { we have cats , George is all male and does not listen to being told to get down or stay off } ~ It is a nice size also . The product itself is very adorable but even a 4 x 4 picture wasn’t able to fit correctly even after being cut to form shape of the heart. Difficult to find a picture to fit just right.

This frame is so cute. Although it's plastic and I thought it was wood, it still looks great on my desk at work.
