Gets rid of rasp, drone, and quiets down your exhaust!!
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEWI have an 2021 Hyundai Elantra N-line 1.6T DCT and I thought the OEM exhaust sound was too quiet. Decided to get a res and muff delete with an Magnaflow installed in place of where the res used to be.So, I turned it on and it sounded... Well, everyone including me was impressed. Shortly after I left, I immediately became annoyed because of the drone. Especially at certain RPMs. But those DCT shift farts was so loud someone covered their ears.I began doing some research and alot of VW owners said this does the trick of getting rid of rasp, drone, and quieting it down. So, I purchased it and it came a few days early. ONE AGONIZING WEEK LATER I FINALLY got it installed and man what a difference! It was too quiet :( . BUT it killed all the drone and rasp. It's installed several inches away from the exhaust tip.About a couple week later, it got louder after breaking in. But the cabin noise has hardly changed. I can finally listen to music in peace! Oh by the way I can still hear the random exhaust burbles, etc.Note: you will smell something burning coming from the exhaust. Don't freak out. It'll go away.I think vibrant should call it a muffler/resonator hybrid. It's shockingly good for the price. And, it's shiny!!

Is it really a resonator or a muffler...?
The 17930s I received seem well made, much as any Vibrant product I've had in my hands. As far as how they work, it's a lil' complicated. I bought a 2011 X5 50i (twin turbo V8) a while back and it had a leaking resonator and I wanted a little more sound so I did a muffler delete and put two Vibrant 1792s in place of the rear muffler based on what I saw another X5 owner do. I also added both an X-pipe and H-pipe to blend the sound of the dual exhausts. To replace the leaking resonators, I installed one Vibrant 1141 (Ultra Quiet) and a Vibrant 1792 on each pipe near the engine (big mistake). This setup sounded glorious with thunderous bass on acceleration and lovely burble on downshifts and deceleration, but it was a little too loud almost ALL the time. Not crazy loud, but tons of drone under load and while cruising on the highway. Even idling was capable of inducing a mild headache, even though it didn't seem that loud.I chopped off the Vibrant 1792s in the rear and replaced them with the 17930s which are considerably larger and the sound became civilized again. Almost too civilized. No more drone, but very little overrun sounds on deceleration or downshift anymore either. My lady likes riding in the car again, though and no more headaches. I plan to replace the front resonators with a pair of Borla XR1 Sportsman mufflers, as they are supposed to be moderately loud and high-flow downpipes so the added sound with those parts should be tamed by the Borlas and 17930s working together.Right now I have a nice rumble and just enough of an aggressive sound that I can enjoy my music and the exhaust at once. We'll see once I make the other changes....

Killed my drone and makes driving bearable again!
Very well put together resonator worth every single penny to decrease my cabin drone and over volume all while maintaining a deep smooth tone. I paired this with a thrush hush muffler and a dc sports resonated tip on my 2000 Honda Civic and it is quiet when cruising but WOT and VTEC pulls still scream which is exactly what I wanted!

Best resonator for drone and great sound
Not overly loud but a nice deep sound, put these in my v6 challenger and sounds great with very minimal drone

It’s fat and good
This is a great product but beware how big around this is. Check your ground clearance. It’s just the thing to get rid of annoying rasp and drone. It so well made I don’t ever expect to have to replace it. Paired up nicely with a valvetronic muffler, in the muffler bypass mode it still has an acceptable rumble and roar, it quiet mode it is a drone killer. Vibrant is the best.

Simply the best
None other like it. If you are looking to reduce sound and drone, this is it.

Vibrant FTW
This resonator both reduced the volume of the exhaust on my mk7 GTI, it also lowered the tone of the exhaust. Making it deeper and richer in sound. Completely unobstructed by design but still very effective. Vibrant is the only exhaust I’ll put on my car besides Borla.
