I think that would be hard-pressed to come across a brand that makes a better quality tub or shower fixture than hansgrohe. They're pretty much the Michael Jordan of bathroom fixtures. This shower set is a very clear cut example of that. The appearance of the set is fairly simple, what you might consider a minimalist look. Yet it still manages to be unique and classy. It wasn't very difficult to install this, as we've had experience installing different shower heads and more for our home not to mention some rental properties. There were no issues with leaks after the installation. The rainfall effect is very relaxing, and it always impresses company when they use it. I do like that unlike many other rainfall shower sets, you can actually tilt and adjust the shower head itself (whereas most wall mounts we see can't be adjusted, and obviously you can't tilt flush ceiling mount installs). If you want a fresh new look to your bathroom, this would be a great starting point.

The media could not be loaded. This is a somewhat inexpensive waterfall shower set from hansgrohe, the classy German maker of plumbing fixtures for kitchen and bath. This is made for a simple shower, not a tub/shower combo which requires a separate tub spout and diverter valve (often located in the tub spout).hansgrohe stands with a few other manufacturers near the top of the value/quality ladder. In other words, they're not the most expensive maker of fixtures, but their fixtures can't be beat functionally—or in quality. There are more avant gard designs, there are more unique looks, but hansgrohe isn't beaten on quality of valves and finishes or longevity of fixtures.You can spend more than the price of this whole set just on a hansgrohe shower head and it will have a fully finished metal back unlike this set's plastic back. It will also be larger. But it won't be functionally better.If you like the look of this set and you don't care that the part of the showerhead no one ever looks at is plastic, get this set. One of the things I like about the Hansgrohe brand is they manufacture very high quality plumbing fixtures that, while pricey, are not sold at an unreasonably high price. And this Vernis tub and shower kit is no different. It met my expectations. I like it a lot.I ordered the brushed nickel version of this kit, and the finish is excellent. It looks just as nice in person as it does in the manufacturer-provided pictures. It has what I guess is technically a matte finish, but it does gleam a good bit. It looks very handsome.Installation is straightforward, and of course this kit comes with the mixing valve, which makes it the kit you would need for new construction or a full bath/shower remodel. So, if you don’t have a good bit of plumbing experience, you will definitely need to hire a licensed plumber to install it for you.If you’re looking for a really nice tub and shower kit, I think you’re going to have a hard time finding a better one in this somewhat modest price range. I recently purchased the Hansgrohe shower set, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it does offer a stylish and modern look to my bathroom, which I appreciate. However, I must admit that I was quite disappointed with its quality, especially considering the price I paid. The components of the set, including the showerhead and fixtures, feel a bit cheaply made. They lack the robustness and durability I expected from a premium brand like Hansgrohe. Moreover, the installation process was more complicated than anticipated, which added to my frustration.While the shower set does its job in providing a decent showering experience, I can't help but think that I could have found a more reasonably priced option with better build quality. Hansgrohe is a well known name in the bath/shower fixture business and for good reason--they deliver a quality product. I'm in the process of upgrading the bathrooms at home and at my office and this shower set went in my guest bedroom bath. It's fairly simple but top quality and was extremely easy to install. The rain shower head delivers a nice medium pressure spray and the single handle controls are easy to use. It also looks great! Highly recommended!
