I really like this coconut milk! It is light and refreshing, and does not have an overpowering coconut flavor when used with my homemade Keto nut granola. I am diabetic so I need a milk substitute that is lower in fat and sugar, and this is it! Is it watered down more than the canned full fat coconut milk you get at Walmart? Yes, but, I personally do not want a full fat coconut milk. Plus, this coconut milk passed my “Yuka” scanning test (an app that rates food quality and overall macros), and this product scanned at 85% out of 100%. For these reasons, this product a winner for me!

Vita Coco's Vanilla Coconut Milk is my favorite find! It’s smooth, with just enough vanilla flavor that's not too sweet. I love it in my granola and even enjoy it as a cold glass of milk.One thing to note: I've had a few issues with the pour spouts. When I twist off the lid, it sometimes lifts from the carton, causing leaks when pouring. Now, I’m just careful when opening a new bottle. Despite this, it’s become a staple in my kitchen, and I highly recommend trying it!

UPDATE 3/11/2025 I am deducting 1 point for leaking. About half the time now, I get a shipment that leaks. In my last order, 2 out of 6 cartons leaked at the base of the cap - badly. See 2 photos below. They were overpacked so maybe that box rattled around in the overpack box. It did have some paper strip packaging but not enough to steady the milk box.UPDATE 12/02/2024 from Tetra Pak: I can confirm that BPA is not used by Tetra Pak during the manufacturing of its packaging materials, and, according to declarations made by our raw material suppliers, it is not a component in any of the materials that form the layers or openings of our package used by VitaCoco. Growing up, I remember coconut milk being given to me right out of the shell and this product tastes exactly like that. Milk right out of the shell is thin, not creamy. I use it with my Julian Bakery granola (Amazon sells this). A serving has 3 grams of sugar (not added), so it's less than a teaspoon which is 4 grams. I like having a six pack so I don't have to open a half gallon and be worried about it spoiling because I didn't use it fast enough and it's the same price per ounce. I only buy organic foods so this is perfect. Arrives just as pictured. I keep it in the refrigerator. This is now my go-to coconut milk. To sweeten, add a few organic Monk Fruit drops (Amazon sells).

I love this brand! I have always gotten their coconut water and since I wanted to make golden milk, tried this vanilla coconut milk and it is delicious! Always make sure to shake well and drink away!

This is a great product! I’m A2 intolerant so I love it in coffee, cereal and smoothies.Sadly it was tossed in a box with no protection for spouts and three of six leak. Not only was the box handled upside down regardless of print on package, but spout carton tops had zero protection, so each drop of the package took its toll.

I've bought a different brand of coconut milk for years and it was creamy. The cream would actually rise to the top, but when you shook it up, you had a very coconut flavored creamy drink. This is nothing like that. It's very, very watery, and I really don't even taste coconut. This is obviously a mixed product where they've decided to skimp. They say there's coconut milk, coconut water, water and coconut cream. Why water? They already list coconut water, so why the addition of water? And I wonder in what ratio? Not the normal ratio for coconut milk as it comes. This is like colored water, and has a very nasty flavor, kind of chemical tasting. I'm not saying there are any chemicals, that's just what it tastes like. It is so bad, I won't drink it, and no one else will either. That's pretty bad because if I pay for things, I'll make a way to use them even if I have to add something to them to make them palatable. Impossible w/this.. Tried using it alone, w/a variety of additions, and no go. Can't understand people liking it. Maybe if it was advertised as coconut water, you could give it a pass though it still wouldn't be good, but coconut milk? I don't think so. Hate it. I'm going back to my other product in spite of it having polysorbate.

Have used the Original Vita Coco Unsweetened version for a while. Like that it is low in carbs, sugar and calcium. Delicious when cold. Went to reorder and was out of stock. Unable to find in local stores. As a result, tried the Vanilla ingredients almost identical. After putting in fridge to get cold, disappointed in the taste. There was none! CHALKY AFTER TASTE AND NO HINT OF VANILLA. More expensive then Original, will not buy again. Also, Original made in Canada, Vanilla made in Sri Lanka. Would not recommend. Called Amazon. Since item not returnable for health reasons, refund was issued . I'll give to friends Ordered the Vita Coco Unsweetened Original. Although Item temporarily not in stock was put on a wait list to be notified by Amazon once item returns to warehouse. Confirmation to be sent by Amazon when order processed. Great service. Pleased with the outcome. Will continue buying the original and also cheaper besides popular. Best if all doesn't need to be refrigerated till opened.
