Great writing pen - but not entirely smudge proof
Bought these to use at work to help mark items with part numbers etc.I work in a sign shop - making decals and vinyl graphics. For items we stock, we write the part numberson them after applying transfer tape.These were expected to show up better and be smudge proof... not really. The red ink does show up very well, then pens write very easily, easy to hold etc. The smudge does still happen, not wuite as bad as a normal ink pen, but it does still happen.If you don't mind that they may smudge a little, these are a great pen.If you must have no smudging, these probably won't work for you.I will continue looking for a Comfortable AVG Priced Red Ink Pen that DOESN'T SMUDGE AT ALL.I can see if you are going overboard to make it smudge, but it shouldn't smudge from lightly brushing over it.

Not in a package?
I love these pens. They’re my favorite. But it was very weird. They weren’t in a package. Just 5 pens (new) in a mailer bag.
