Plays as well as my Buffet Crampon!
I've been playing saxophone for 50 years and have owned professional level horns. I've also been formally trained to perform repairs on woodwinds. I can't find any weaknesses or flaws in the craftsmanship of this horn at all. It amazes me that this is so inexpensive!

Great sax if you can handle mold.
The sax is really nice for a beginner, however the case arrived covered in mold. Really not what I expected when I opened it in my living room on my couch. Purchase at your own risk.Edit… contacted Amazon they sent a replacement sax… which also had mold all over.

Crooked Bell
I just noticed the bell is sideways. :(. I wish I would've noticed that when I first bought it. I've been too busy to play it. But last night I played and noticed. Just look over it to make sure everything is OK:).

No longer slade brand
Based on previous reviews I was hopeful since the slade store no longer sold this finish, but alas the horn I received was a Btuty. After a few days having it out some of the pads are settling octave key is sticky. 'A' was flat for a day or so. The sound isn't bad but needs a lot of small tweaks and isn't as free blowing as others. Would not recommend for beginners. It'd OK for me to doodle around with until I can upgrade. 3 starts for small details with pads and function. Intonation is acceptable but not ideal.

Incorrect brand in description
Listing brand is Sasouri but the sax engraved shows Slade and also Slade on the outside of the case. This listing description is incorrect if the seller ships the Slade brand. This Slade sax delivered today and plays well.

Molded and smells bad
Like the other buyer above in the reviews, the product showed up moldy and smelling bad. Returning immediately.

Worst saxophone ever!
The media could not be loaded. Keys feel cheap and sticky! Sax feels cheap when holding onto it. The inside of the sax is camouflage black? Why black... that makes it hard to see contamination!... 3 to 4 keys were broken, which is a joke! And it wasn't properly protected on the keys. a few protective sponges were on the sax to protect it, but was missing protection in a lot of places that normally are placed with those sponges, worst sax ever!

Good sax but the box ruined the suprise
It comes in a box with Alto Sax written on the side in massive writing. Spoiled suprise. Great sax though
