Perfect size for big picture and details.
Exactly what I was looking for. Planning a trip to the area without being able to see the big picture is frustrating. This provides both the big picture and sufficient detail to understand car/train/bus trade-offs fairly clearly, although the routing of buses and trains are not shown, one can look at timetables, etc., on the internet and get a good feel with map in hand. Nicely, this map does include the slice of Scotland we will be visiting, so the whole picture comes into view for me.The lamination appears quite good, and as we continue our planning, we will use some sort of sticker to mark our waypoints. I have not yet tried dry erase markers, but if they work, it will be perfect.

Informative
Liked the accuracy and details, plus the laminated cover allows dry race markers to be used.

This U.K. Nat Geo Map is the Best~!
This is THE ONE to have when watching TV programs about the U.K. We keep it right under the coffee table, rolled up, and when we need to know where places are, this is the go to map, not our bulky Atlas. A lot of information on the map and we sometimes use a lighted magnifying glass for the very small details. Very durable and should last for many years to come.

A fine modern example of a the best wall maps
Even if you have been reading about history, news and fiction set in these islands, this fine map outshines those small black-and-white sketches as well as the best HD maps served up by Google or even a digital atlas. At the other extreme, Michelin drivers' maps of far away places set out the strange sounding names - and show some of the Crusader castles atop every strategic high ground in the a Holy Land as tourist stops - but both Peoria and Jericho are more real as places in a National Geographic map.Even the sainted ordinance survey maps, and even if you fully read topographic same-altitude lines, may lose the landscape by highlighting every intermittent water course.Even if you rotate the map hanging near your comfortable chair, or keep a dozen neatly rolled and you remember to grab the right one as needed, this map will help you integrate memory, fiction and geography.

It was perfect..
It was perfect....exactly as expected, except that the packaging was poorly done so that the poster arrived minimally crinkled. It was not so bad that I had to return it. The product worked very well for my needs.

Great little map.
I got this to plan a trip to the UK. The lamination is great because I can stick post its to it without worrying about ripping it, and I can mark on it with wet erase. After my trip, I'll frame it and maybe put pins in it to show where I traveled. It does have a lot of detail.

Laminated map
This map is beautiful. I received it a bit later than expected, but it was intact and undamaged. It is fully laminated, very detailed, and a great showpiece.
