Good overview.

This is a good basic handbook for anyone who wants to paint with acrylics. Well illustrated with chapters on colour mixing, brush techniques, and painting styles. Could go into a bit more detail about mediums - has descriptions of each type and what it is used for but I could have used a bit on the advantages vs disadvantages of the types, how to discern the quality as there is a real range of costs - the writer does this with student vs professional paints but mediums are a very confusing topic.
