I read reviews on this machine thinking shall I chance it?Phillips has always been a good brand.So I took the step!I love it !It has cold water on tap, now and then you can hear a really quiet cooler working.Also hot water on tap to the temperature you desire.All filtered!It tells you when the filter needs changing also needs descaling.You can move the drip tray up or down to reduce splashing.What more could you want!

** Update**They seemed to have sorted out the warranty situation by partnering with a company called letmerepair dot co dot uk.I was able to return the unit and get another, seemengly new, one.It's failed again however, on this occasion it's tripping the mains, so i'm returning it again.... sigh.Some internal electrical fault.We love it when it works, but it's soooo prone to failure....**EDIT**After a few months (3) the thing started leaking water from the bottom. Unexplained, unprompted.I've tried to go via the philips website to claim my warranty and while it does let me register it when I try to get into the warranty section it tells me that it does not have the model in the database.Turns our that this product is made by a company called "AquaShield Health Technology" based out of... yes, china.From their linkedin:AquaShield Health Technology Company is the global exclusive Philips brand licensee for water purifiers, water dispensers, water heaters and electric bidets.It has been great finding out that I paid a premium to get some quality philips thing and it's some re-badged stuff from another company. Yes, surprise, I should have known, call me gullible.Don't make the same mistake as me and avoid this thing like the plague.Pros:-Cold water function works perfectly (but after you turn it on you will have to wait for the cooling circuit to cool down). Not sure how the circuit works, probably peltier plates which is not very energy eficient.Hot water on command, quick and easyFiltered water quality will depend on the quality of the filter, which accepts brita-type filters. My favourite filter is still the philips branded carbon one, but it is pricier.So I'll have to add a "con" to my list: It doesn't work and you're actively discouraged from trying to claim the warranty.My old review, when it hadn't failed yet:Cons:Cold water circuit 500ml setting dispenses exactly 250ml. On hot water it dispenses 500ml.As mentioned elsewhere it'd be nicer to have the temperatures have their own buttons, rather than to have to cycle sideways. Too many presses to get what you want.Disabling the cold water circuit is a hidden option activated by pressing two buttons simultaneously. Why not give it its own button? Designers were obviously trying to save money on buttons.... which is pointless as its already a premium product way more expensive than a kettle... so why not do it right? User interface is pretty crap if u need the manual to figure it out.For us descaling didnt randomly come on, as mentioned in other reviews, they probably got a faulty unit.

I had Murphy Richard’s 3ltr hot water dispenser and that was brilliant but this is far superior with very cold water option as well

Absolutely disgusted with the help line , go round in circles no one sorts problems out just get passed on until you get back to original phone numberDo not buy this product

This is a glorified waste of money. While the temp control for heat is good the cool feature is useless. It takes ages for it to cool water where you can hear the motor from a room away. Further it goes into standby long before its cooled the water so you have to keep turning it on to come out of standby to ensure you get a cold glass of water when you need it. Once you have one glass you got to wate ages to get a 2nd glass of cold water and keep turning it on again and again...

It's ok I've put a bit of kitchen roll there as I use my big cups. I struggled to take the water container off and was scared incase I break it. Putting it on is ok It would be ideal if there was a release button that you can press so you can just lift it up and put in back on.

If you’re planning to buy one you need to know this information1. You will need to run at least 2 litres of water through the machine before drinking in order to get rid of a weird taste from the machine and the new filter2. The cool water mode will only work after you have completed the first use steps of use to fill the internal cold water tank and will take a couple of hours to reduce the temperature it is not instantaneous this feature can be turned off to reduce consumption of electricity.After the weird taste worn off i really enjoyed using this rather than a standard kettleUpdate:Unit developed a fault where it was tripping the electrics most likely an earth leak from the heating element shorting out even though descaling was doneWarranty repair/ replacement was done by letMeRepair but the unit suffered the same fault 5 months later and letMeRepair are avoiding my emails and when i call the customer service is appalling for an appliance that cost this sort of moneyDo not buy this product you will be disappointed in the long run until they sort out the faults but then again i don't think i would trust it again

The media could not be loaded. Afer 9 mouth of buy and use everyday.Start doing loud noise that if i want to watch tv i need to turn off, and to sleep I need to do the same.So i trash and I need to buy a new one

Macht was es soll. Finde es toll, das heiss und kalt gewählt werden kann. Erleichtert einiges und trinke mehr Tee seither 😊Geschmack ist am Anfang etwas komisch. Einfach einige male durchlaufen lassen und auch heisses Wasser durchlaufen lassen danach passts.
