Very tight fit
We have used 3M respirator masks for years, just not this model. We ordered the 8210 recently and found they were so tight as to be not wearable. We are average-sized adults, but the elastic on these was so tight it was difficult to get them on even after stretching the elastic beforehand. It's so tight it digs deeply into the face, and the mask puts so much pressure on the nose that it's painful. We could not wear them at all. The Amazon seller refunded our money. We also contacted 3M as this seemed very odd to us; they took all the info, asked for pictures, etc., but say it just must not be a good fit for us. We use N95 respirators from a couple of other companies and have had no problems with fit.

cheap straps that hold mask to face, they break easily

It is a mask that protects from dust. It does what it is supposed to.
