Ambient WeatherNetwork Outdoor Wi-Fi Weather Camera

Camera would not connect to network. Support slow to respond and now I am past my opportunity to return the product.

I can get this to connect to the vmslive software. I can't get it to connect to the internet. The help desk number says there are no technical assistant personnel available and to leave a number for a callback. I've tried that twice with no callback. I don't know what else to do other than return the camera.

I bought the Ambient Weather Network Outdoor Wi-Fi Weather Camera to augment my outdoor Ambient Weather weather station. Over the months that I have had the camera, I have spent many hours trying to get the camera to operate in a reliable and stable manner. The software is far from being user-friendly. I do not recommend purchase of this camera unless you are willing and able to spend a lot of time setting it up and debugging problems as they arise. Right now, I have gotten to the point where I have given up trying to get past the setup problems that don't seem to want to go away.Ambient Weather needs to develop and market a low-cost camera with plug-and-play software and user-friendly setup.

Nothing but problems. Irratic image transfer and won't send images for hours at a time though good wifi connection and streaming in real time on PC keeps coming through. Images fisheye distortion. Overexposed sky even though (mostly) sky/land is at 80%/20%. Not sure but I think it screwed up my proxy or network or RegEdit computer settings. Now internet as slow as can be and sometimes won't even connect. Coincidence? Good and fast email tech support though.

Description states 6x zoom but directions and teck support did not know anything about it. Said they would look into it and never called me back. Camera would go sometimes 3 days without updating my weather station. Support said they would look into it and AGAIN never called me back. I returned the camera.
