OEM as described and eliminated my check engine light once replaced. If you have a check engine light or “vacuum” error code on a VW Jetta or Golf...this is the first thing to check. A $30 fix that a garage would charge you over $150 for!

This does not look like my oem vw gas cap but it fit very well and stopped my car from having a check engine light.

Granddaughter has a VM CC Sport. Each time she would get gas she would get "Check Engine". After replacing the gas cap no more "Ck Eng". Did the job

The gas cap comes with a tethered cable but no clip/screw. In some VW models, this clip is easily removed to installed the new tethered cable. In mine it is not. It would have been ideal if it came with the scew/clip so I could just break the old clip screw and just push this one in. I have a 09 Tiguan. I tried everything. Rotating the clip, removing the whole flap. I see no way to remove it but to break it, but even then, I don't have a replacement clip/screw.

A lot cheaper than dealer price. OEM. Easy to replace old, worn out, gas cap on VW Passat. Ended up not being the reason for my check engine light, but great replacement anyway.

It fit like brand new no problems and now the gas leak is gone or EVAP code
