Need to clarify that I plug this into my computer USB drive, attach my phone line & am able to fax frm my computer? Will it receive fax thru USB too?

Yes I am able to fax from my computer as well as receive faxes from other fax senders. Have tried other usb fax plug-in (from walk in store) but only this particular US Robotics model is consistently able to hang up at the end of all transmissions.

Is it compatible with Mountain Lion

Yes - I've used it with Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks and, now, Yosemite. Once plugged in the device simply shows up as another 'printer' - no third-party software needed. Plug it into an available USB port and a telephone line, select the Print dialog, choose "USB Modem" from the printer selection and enter your fax information - BOOM, it faxes.

Is it compatiable with windows 10?

yes, I have had no problems using this with Windows 10

does this modem come with the drivers for mac?

For Mac use, the Fax capability does not require any additional software files. The modem capability does require a modem script. It come with a CD with the required modem script for Mac OS 10.4.3 and greater.
