How heavy is the base?

Reasonably heavy for a hollow plastic box. It won't tip over if clipped stuff is even distributed. You could also open the bottom to insert something heavy if you like.

What is the diameter of the holes?

The sticks are 2mm so the hole is a little larger than that, but smaller than 3mm

Are the sticks bendable?

You can bend them just a little bit but they're very rigid
