Classic Brands Mercer Cool Gel Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid 12-Inch Pillow Top Mattress, Mattress in a Box, Twin XL

I researched all types and brands, I was used to a tempurpedic (took along time to get used to the visco elastic memory foam) but after 15+ years, it needed to be replaced, after much diligent research on all brands and prices, I am very pleased that I chose this one, it's very comfortable, soft on top, yet firm, like a traditional mattress it has a spring feel, much more comfortable then the memory foam mattresses, in my humble opinion. I bought this for my husband ( very picky) and he was so pleased, I bought another for myself...if you are worried about an odor, don't, there wasn't any...it took full shape in 24 hours, but being an impatient person. It was plumped up enough to lay on it in a few hours...his sleep has been deeper, more comfortable with no pressure point pain...hope that this help anyone like myself, an older person who is very leary of "New fangled boxed mattresses" this was a wonderful buy for the $, which is important to lower income people like myself, we don't have $ to waste...this wasn't a waste...it performed just as described, with a 10 year warranty (3 year full and 7 year pro-rated)...

I have had this mattress for 3 1/2 years. I am 6' 5" and weight 390 lbs. Anyone that size is going to be tough on a mattress over time. For a $200.00 mattress I didn't know what to expect, but thought I would try it. Before this mattress, I had a $1300 Tempurpedic which lasted 10 years. I figured I could buy 6 of these mattresses over time and they would last much longer. I am buying my second one today. I bought a very sturdy frame, ($80.00). This mattress on a box foundation holds up to the task of me sleeping on it every night. Everyone that lays on them or sleeps on them says they feel really nice. Give it a try.

Out of the box took about 6hrs to air up to the full 12”, little smell the first day. I like the mercer hybrid mattress but it needs more cushion, this is a med-firm mattress, this is more like an innerspring mattress than the lucid hybrid that you sink into and hard to get out of. after reading all the reviews I knew that I might need to buy a topper so after a week.. I bought a 2” soft 100% latex foam topper and a oaksy padded mattress cover. This is all I need, very comfortable, cool (latex topper) and little sinking in at just under $300, returned the first mercer I bought before prime day ($240) then bought it on sale on prime day for $150, they charged me a $33 return shipping fee within the 30 day return, I think because the reason I put was found a lower price..not defective equipment. I sleep on my side 70% of the time and for a 200 lb. person I was starting to feel my hips hurt a little, for a back sleeper this mattress needs nothing for me. Twin XL overall the mattress alone is 3.75 stars but its a good base to add on to, you can always make a firmer bed softer. I just didn’t like the sinking feeling of memory foam and heat.

This mattress came packaged. We took the wrapping off and it immediately began to spring up. It was ready for him to use by the end of the night. Roughly 6 hours. I purchased this mattress for my son who is 16 and basically built like a football player. He immediately noticed the difference in comfort. He stated it was very comfortable, it felt cool unlike the mattress from before. It’s been a few months now and it still has its original shape and durability.

After first purchasing a Nectar Mattress and finding I hated it, (couldn't turn over in it) I asked for my money back and started doing a lot of research for a mattress for my Split King adjustable bed frame. After going to a mattress showroom and talking with the sales staff I determined that a Hybrid Mattress was for me. The important thing being that it had to have individually wrapped coils. Though I had never gotten a chance to lay on the Classic Brand mattress, after reading the reviews, and looking at the online You-Tube Reviews I decided that this one was worth a try. I purchased 2 Twin XL Classic Brands Mercer Pillow Top Mattresses. WOW!!! These mattresses are great. We have had the mattresses for about 4 months now, and my husband and I are still commenting at night "Boy do I love this mattress!" After 4 months ours are not showing any sagging. This is a great supportive mattress. LOVE IT!

We needed a mattress for mom, so we took a chance on this one. The bed-in-a-box was very convenient and easy to get into the room. It unrolled & decompressed quickly, though we did give it the full 24 hours to regain it's full shape. This mattress is perfect for a bed frame that doesn't need a box spring since it has supporting coils and a nice foam + pillow top to make it comfortable. Mom loves it & sleeps like a log on it. We're very happy with this product.

Bought the Twin XL for a guest bed on Dec 2018. Still in perfect shape and comfortably firm. Highly recommend.Also, perfect for those that want to buy a new mattress but don’t have the means to haul one home from a furniture store. This came in a nice box and when unpacked it rolled out into a perfectly firm mattress. Beautiful design too. Love it!!!

Over all not bad but the pillow top is not smooth it has big indents between pillow pockets. Hard to explain. Almost as if pillow top is lumpy.

It's only been a few weeks, but so far, this mattress is great. Got it for my teenage son, and he loves it. He's picky about these things! I'm amazed at how it was shipped so small and contained, and expanded into the bed that it is! It's firm, with just the right bit of "sink into". It feels like a lot higher quality (like my $2000 mattress). Very impressed. Only 4 stars because it's still new and I want to see how it holds up.Also, no smell or odors at all like some reviews said.

So very happy with this mattress. It is firm but comfy. Best sleep I've had in years. Thanks so much!
